I think we lost sight of how horribly free speech was attacked during the Covid fraud. It’s discouraging that it’s taking this long to begin to right the wrongs. Regrettably, these delays encourage more government wrongdoing. Justice delayed is justice denied.

I agree. The nub of the problem is that they grant themselves the power to end-run the constitution.

Until there's transparency and accountability it won't end even if Alex wins (which I think he will).

This will set a precedent, which is critical in law....but it's not enough if we can't see behind the curtain...because they'll find another way.

The essential truth is they don’t accept the constitution as governing their actions and core beliefs.

Exactly how is the government held to account? What are the penalties paid?

Right?!

The greatest trick ever played has been to change the meaning of transparency into traitor.

The American public loves the government so much now The Truth would be one part shocking and one part unsettling ....so much so; it would be ignored.

Love of government is conditioning for love of gulags.

Fear and chaos are the two primary ways that Democrats accumulate power…even more than buying votes with “progressive” taxation and entitlement programs.

I agree with all of your statements except for the first sentence. How could we have lost sight of the suppression of speech when it has continually escalated.

A rhetorical question: Why would the OBiden admin start adhering to SCOTUS opinions now when they demonstrate Zero respect for Law and the Constitution?

Great news. I'll add that the first (and all) amendments in the BoR were backstops and not the first line of defense against government power. Over the last century and more the left has flipped the concept from enumerated powers to a enumerated liberties. And now the Bill of Rights is the only thing protecting many freedoms in the United States.

I hope you, Alex, think about this and why it is critical for freedom.

I think he gets it. Or he wouldn't be putting up the good fight.

Pretty sure he understands this is bigger than him.

I think he gets the importance of the 1st Amendment of the BoR, not necessarily the importance of how the constitution has been purposely inverted to get and keep power. 😀. Or maybe even the importance of the rest of the BoR, like the 2nd and 9th and 10th amendments.

I'll take Alex in a foxhole any day.

I agree with him on 80%.

That's good enough for me.

But I hear what you're saying.

Considering her lower court rulings, Sotomayor's like a victim of little group think. Or mini formation psychosis. Whatever it is, welcome.

One decision down and two to go…! But I am confused about the application of this when suing folks in BOTH their professional role and personal capacity as I think your suit does.

Sadly, when foreign banks kick US persons out of their accounts or worse, freezes their accounts due to the U.S. FATCA law, our lawsuits are thrown out for lack of standing. The judges state that back lockout of Americans living abroad is due not to US government action but on the decisions of the banks; despite the 30% of all U.S. derived income fine for noncomplying nonUS banks.

Nonetheless, I am happy for Berenson’s good news and for the NRA’s win. What is the punishment for the losing side?

Way to go Alex! It was refreshing to hear a liberal like Sotomayor, ruling in your favor. That's how it should be. Supreme Court justices, actually any judges, should not conflate the law with their political leanings. Rock on Alex! Sabrinalabow.substack.com
