It’s a good idea, although during the last election there were many people who brought what they considered voting irregularities to the attention of those in charge and basically were told to just sit down, shut up and count. Then when sworn affidavits of the same were presented to even higher ups - nothing. Even the Supreme Court would not intervene. Heck we even saw with our own eyes the skullduggery that was perpetrated.
I worked the Cali recall. It's not really the polls we need to worry about, it's the people who come in with No ID. They can register multiple times and vote. The craziest part is one hour before polls close you get a plethora of new registers. It's almost like they do it to overload us purposely. They fill out a substitute ballot, which goes to the warehouse for double checking, but by then, they are registered, in the system, and now they get two, three, four ballots sent to their home for next election.

On the evening of the election the votes were quickly tabulated soon after poll closings to discover how many votes Trump received in the key states. Calculations were made to determine how many extra pre-printed ballots for Biden would be needed and then they were delivered to the polling places by whatever means necessary. A huge part of our economy is healthcare related. Driving around any large or even medium sized city, you see all these beautiful medical parks everywhere. Makes you wonder if most of it is just $$$ driven. Big medicine tries to "fear monger" everyone in the country into having test after useless test. My friends think they will die if they don't get their annual this, and annual that, test done. They want everyone on a prescription to get their repeat customers. It's very sad.

A legitimate US Administration would have realized when the VAERS cases started to climb soon after the vaccines were widely distributed that they had been deceived by the Covid-Crats. There would have been extensive hearings over a 1 or 2 week period and then Trump would have issued an executive order to ban the jab. Just like that. We would have gone thru a surge of cases and then the expert epidemiologists would make Herd Immunity predictions.
The Amish community near my home was hit very hard with Covid in March and April 2020. Almost everyone got it and the infection profile was identical to the national stats except that the entire community was infected and summarily immune (or dead) within weeks. By 2021, their agrarian economy had their best year ever.
Your penultimate sentence might be taken to mean that many people in the Amish community died from covid. I doubt that's what you meant, and I doubt it's true. I imagine only a minuscule percentage of the community died, though they nearly all became sick (and recovered well.)

Isn't it interesting that we never hear about the Amish community? Probably because their overall health protocols would fly in the face of typical western medicine.
What I meant to say was that the Amish people were like every other community in that the elderly were more susceptible to comorbidity complications and some died while children were far less affected. Their experience was similar a certain Jewish community in NY City when they declared they had reached herd immunity sometime in May or June 2020.
I don't know what special treatments were used for Covid. The Amish do use hospitals and regular MD's when they don't know how to treat something. But for the most part medicine is practiced at the family level and with few specialists and trend toward herbal means to assist in healing. Early on in the pandemic they opted out of hospital treatment because they don't carry medical insurance.

First, there has probably always been a bit of cheating. JFK likely only won because some union bosses sent people to vote on behalf of those populating cemeteries in Chicago (thus why Democrats, perhaps accurately, are consistently accused of having dead voters on their side). In the last election there was mass ballot harvesting - I believe 2,000 ballot mules have been identified from the last election. But the election was very, very close.
What we all need to remember is the cheating is always going to be somewhat limited. Most of the real problem is the biased media convincing people to vote for politicians that literally hate them on the left.
Without a Covid excuse, and with unmonitored boxes found unconstitutional in some states, and otherwise banned in others, it would be nearly impossible to accomplish that again. Polling always leans left to condition people, but still the actual votes, even after any cheating, are to the right of the polls (tralfagar is pretty accurate).
The worst idea is to just not vote. They don’t have to cheat if the opposition sits at home. If enough people vote, they can’t overcome it. This is where I go to personal responsibility - I think it’s better to have voted and spoken up then sit at home and complain out loud.
Plus, it’s harder to cheat the more local the election - and that’s where election security gets decided. It might be possible to throw a close state wide senate election in a huge state, but not so much a house of representative elections, even harder for state house positions, and even harder for county/ city positions. If you can win those, you’ve limited the power of the left. We got here incrementally and we might have to win our country back the same way.

Same situation with my son. About a month ago they announced a return to office date of early next month. For many it will be 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. There's a vax requirement (I'm unclear on boosters), with no testing option (likely because they are a federal contractor and the federal contractor rule, unlike the OSHA rule, does not permit testing). Even though I believe the federal contractor rule is still currently subject to a nationwide injunction against enforcement, there's obviously no such injunction against corporate policies. So the policy remains on the books with the typical "violations may result in employee discipline up to and including termination" yadda yadda yadda language. They have not directly threatened my son with termination. Supposedly only HR knows his non-vax status. In team meetings his manager says stuff like "no one who is not vaccinated will be permitted in the office until vaccinated " (not "get vaxxed, get your butt in the office, or else") and "no one is to comment on or question anyone else's vax status." She also keeps hinting there may be a testing option even though the written policy currently does NOT contemplate one. My son doesn't know what to think, ie, will he be terminated when he doesn't show up in the office by the return date?? I personally think his company wants an off ramp and may ride it out (with a testing option, or nonenforcement of the return to office, or something else) during the injunction, but will almost certainly not give up its federal contractor status.

I feel like we're mis-using "herd immunity". I agree 100% with the strategy and Team Reality has been saying "focused protection" since the GBD came out...but we will get COVID every year. We don't use herd immunity for colds and that's what COVID will be. It will infect and re-infect every year...like a cold. People will have T cell memory and the antibodies will wax and wane based on infection timepoint so it will come and go with it's seasonality...just like a cold. It's a coronavirus so it's going to be endemic like coronaviruses are...even if it's a little GOF'ed.
I agree. However, natural immunity to SARS cov1 was found to belong lasting so that raises some interesting questions as to whether that might be possible with SARS cov-2. Overall you're right that immunity doesn't mean you cannot get covid again. If the spike of a new variant (or any of the structural proteins) has mutated enough, your immune system won't initally recognize it and reinfection is possible. But if you previously had a natural infection your body will have been exposed to the functionally constrained proteins of the virus as well (those that do not change and are inside it). When the new variant begins to replicate your immune system will recognize those proteins and deal with it. That would lessen the severity/duration and, as you say make it more like a common cold.
I think the bigger issue/concern here is the degree to which the immune system has been altered or inhibited via these mRNA/DNA transfections and their myriad of boosters, prohibiting both the innate and adaptive immune system from learning or mounting a broader response to this virus and protecting the individual from its descendents. Time will tell.

The pattern of incompetence was so clear early on that I eventually hypothesised to anyone who would listen that governments would only stop harming and start making good decisions after they had made every mistake possible and done untold damage. It’s a good idea, although during the last election there were many people who brought what they considered voting irregularities to the attention of those in charge and basically were told to just sit down, shut up and count. Then when sworn affidavits of the same were presented to even higher ups - nothing. Even the Supreme Court would not intervene. Heck we even saw with our own eyes the skullduggery that was perpetrated.

I worked the Cali recall. It's not really the polls we need to worry about, it's the people who come in with No ID. They can register multiple times and vote. The craziest part is one hour before polls close you get a plethora of new registers. It's almost like they do it to overload us purposely. They fill out a substitute ballot, which goes to the warehouse for double checking, but by then, they are registered, in the system, and now they get two, three, four ballots sent to their home for next election.

A legitimate US Administration would have realized when the VAERS cases started to climb soon after the vaccines were widely distributed that they had been deceived by the Covid-Crats. There would have been extensive hearings over a 1 or 2 week period and then Trump would have issued an executive order to ban the jab. Just like that. We would have gone thru a surge of cases and then the expert epidemiologists would make Herd Immunity predictions.
The Amish community near my home was hit very hard with Covid in March and April 2020. Almost everyone got it and the infection profile was identical to the national stats except that the entire community was infected and summarily immune (or dead) within weeks. By 2021, their agrarian economy had their best year ever.

Your penultimate sentence might be taken to mean that many people in the Amish community died from covid. I doubt that's what you meant, and I doubt it's true. I imagine only a minuscule percentage of the community died, though they nearly all became sick (and recovered well.)
Do you have any further information about how they dealt with covid? Did they use early treatments, such as ivermectin, HCQ, etc.? (Do they use any pharmaceuticals, ever?) Herbal and other traditional or naturopathic remedies?
Isn't it interesting that we never hear about the Amish community? Probably because their overall health protocols would fly in the face of typical western medicine.
What I meant to say was that the Amish people were like every other community in that the elderly were more susceptible to comorbidity complications and some died while children were far less affected. Their experience was similar a certain Jewish community in NY City when they declared they had reached herd immunity sometime in May or June 2020.
I don't know what special treatments were used for Covid. The Amish do use hospitals and regular MD's when they don't know how to treat something. But for the most part medicine is practiced at the family level and with few specialists and trend toward herbal means to assist in healing. Early on in the pandemic they opted out of hospital treatment because they don't carry medical insurance.
As an example, instead of buying HCQ they would just make the old citrus rind recipe for quinine.

First, there has probably always been a bit of cheating. JFK likely only won because some union bosses sent people to vote on behalf of those populating cemeteries in Chicago (thus why Democrats, perhaps accurately, are consistently accused of having dead voters on their side). In the last election there was mass ballot harvesting - I believe 2,000 ballot mules have been identified from the last election. But the election was very, very close.
What we all need to remember is the cheating is always going to be somewhat limited. Most of the real problem is the biased media convincing people to vote for politicians that literally hate them on the left.
Without a Covid excuse, and with unmonitored boxes found unconstitutional in some states, and otherwise banned in others, it would be nearly impossible to accomplish that again. Polling always leans left to condition people, but still the actual votes, even after any cheating, are to the right of the polls (tralfagar is pretty accurate).
The worst idea is to just not vote. They don’t have to cheat if the opposition sits at home. If enough people vote, they can’t overcome it. This is where I go to personal responsibility - I think it’s better to have voted and spoken up then sit at home and complain out loud.
Plus, it’s harder to cheat the more local the election - and that’s where election security gets decided. It might be possible to throw a close state wide senate election in a huge state, but not so much a house of representative elections, even harder for state house positions, and even harder for county/ city positions. If you can win those, you’ve limited the power of the left. We got here incrementally and we might have to win our country back the same way.

However, she has been consistent in promoting herd immunity while protecting the vulnerable as best we can - several youtube videos exist on that topic. I imagine a more thorough search of youtube might discover the interview I saw.

But I'd call what we're heading into fascism, authoritarianism, or totalitarianism, rather than communism. As I understand it, communism (at least classically) denotes a society in which all wealth is communal, so that everyone is (more or less) equally wealthy, or poor, as the case may be. That's obviously not the game plan, right? Of course, it wasn't true of the USSR, either.

Same situation with my son. About a month ago they announced a return to office date of early next month. For many it will be 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. There's a vax requirement (I'm unclear on boosters), with no testing option (likely because they are a federal contractor and the federal contractor rule, unlike the OSHA rule, does not permit testing). Even though I believe the federal contractor rule is still currently subject to a nationwide injunction against enforcement, there's obviously no such injunction against corporate policies. So the policy remains on the books with the typical "violations may result in employee discipline up to and including termination" yadda yadda yadda language. They have not directly threatened my son with termination. Supposedly only HR knows his non-vax status. In team meetings his manager says stuff like "no one who is not vaccinated will be permitted in the office until vaccinated " (not "get vaxxed, get your butt in the office, or else") and "no one is to comment on or question anyone else's vax status." She also keeps hinting there may be a testing option even though the written policy currently does NOT contemplate one. My son doesn't know what to think, ie, will he be terminated when he doesn't show up in the office by the return date?? I personally think his company wants an off ramp and may ride it out (with a testing option, or nonenforcement of the return to office, or something else) during the injunction, but will almost certainly not give up its federal contractor status.

I really don’t recommend getting it if you are not prepared or older ( like me) or compromised in any way. You may be just fine, or it may kill you. I feel like we're mis-using "herd immunity". I agree 100% with the strategy and Team Reality has been saying "focused protection" since the GBD came out...but we will get COVID every year. We don't use herd immunity for colds and that's what COVID will be. It will infect and re-infect every year...like a cold. People will have T cell memory and the antibodies will wax and wane based on infection timepoint so it will come and go with it's seasonality...just like a cold. It's a coronavirus so it's going to be endemic like coronaviruses are...even if it's a little GOF'ed.
I agree. However, natural immunity to SARS cov1 was found to belong lasting so that raises some interesting questions as to whether that might be possible with SARS cov-2. Overall you're right that immunity doesn't mean you cannot get covid again. If the spike of a new variant (or any of the structural proteins) has mutated enough, your immune system won't initally recognize it and reinfection is possible. But if you previously had a natural infection your body will have been exposed to the functionally constrained proteins of the virus as well (those that do not change and are inside it). When the new variant begins to replicate your immune system will recognize those proteins and deal with it. That would lessen the severity/duration and, as you say make it more like a common cold.
I think the bigger issue/concern here is the degree to which the immune system has been altered or inhibited via these mRNA/DNA transfections and their myriad of boosters, prohibiting both the innate and adaptive immune system from learning or mounting a broader response to this virus and protecting the individual from its descendents. Time will tell.

The pattern of incompetence was so clear early on that I eventually hypothesised to anyone who would listen that governments would only stop harming and start making good decisions after they had made every mistake possible and done untold damage. In hindsight, I think I was half right. Back then I still assumed the 'mistakes' were actually unintentional and therefore real mistakes as opposed to something more sinister. I have long since come to believe that assumption was unsound, and probably incorrect.
