There are *VERY* few instances where the physical life of the mother is endangered by the baby anyway. Ectopic pregnancy would be the most common, and that is always discovered early on.

The thing is his thought experiment wording "it would save many women's lives," is completely wrong and off base. He does this thought experiment in response to the possible Roe retraction, but abortion rights laws aren't meant to and usually don't save any woman's life - they save or take babies lives. The women are not at harm and are not at risk of death, they are just inconvenienced at the result of their choices.
Actually abortions are bad for women's health there are many studies that show that subsequent to abortions these women have all kinds of medical and mental health problems and are more likely to suffer from health problems. . Isn't it amazing that these evil times have convinced women and some feeble minded men that to protect a women's health care she must be able to murder her own child, put herself at risk and become screaming banshees to fight for it. Seems like a great insidious way to totally destroy women and what makes them uniquely different from men. We need to pray for mercy forgiveness and light for all of them.
