If Trump said don't drink piss the left would start drinking bottles of pee for hydration. So, I'm not sure mocking Biden is as important as shaming his supporters. Sucks to say that....but a spade is a spade.

Democrats wanting to see what was going on with the obvious mental health decline of Biden is like OJ looking for the "real" killer.

The problem is not that the D's representatives are unethical, corrupt, criminal, lying dirtbags. Its that their supporters don't care.

Sometimes you just have to call it like it is.

If they don't start being reasonable and keep behaving like they are i don't see any way of avoiding civil war....or some other nasty and prolonged conflict. And it won't be the Right that starts it.

Please change my mind.....

Agree. Plus I feel Americans are tired of sham investigations that go nowhere when the momentum to codify DOGE and other key efforts need attention. How many “consequences” have taken place? Practically speaking, zero. Is this critical? Yes! But with the lack of shame in the DC bubble, few have confidence that we will ever know who ran the country. If only the Republicans could chew gum and walk - look at shameful, smug Comey. Jan6 committee. Jamie Raskin. Disheartening but truth. Trump does unbelievable feats of intellect, strength, and strategy - comes home to yet another guy selling a book. Color me disgusted.

Democrat voters of are of two types; those that are all in on the lying, corruption and are truly soulless dirtbags, and the rest which are unbelievably stupid. I have friends that are stupid. They actually say things like that is not true or it is a republican lie. These in the words of Desmet are the 60%. They refuse to see even though it is in their face. The democrats have gone so far left they fell off the cliff into insanity. And they don't hide it. This is what I find so incredible. Just look and you will see it, just listen to what they say and you will hear it. But they refuse. It is incomprehensible. How did they get this way? I like some of these people very much but we can't discuss anything topical because if I have to hear their utter garbage I can't be friends with them because they are just too stupid. And they are emboldened by the democrats into thinking they are SMARTER, SUPERIOR AND THE REAL KICKER MORE MORAL! Yes, there are a LOT of stupid D's out there, but many aren't. I have very smart friends (and my own sister!) who've drunk the Kool-Aid, yet are NOT stupid people in any way shape or form. They're just woefully uninformed and misinformed.

They truly believe that CNN/MSNBC/NYT/WP/NPR are "moderate" and telling them the truth, yet when those are your only news outlets, you WILL only get one completely skewed side of the story.

Everyone on this thread has learned the hard way over the past half-decade+ that it's only by going WAY beyond the MSM that you get at the truth, and through far more credible independent voices like Alex, Matt and many others.

And exacerbating the challenge for the uninformed Ds is that to open themselves up to other points of view necessitates admitting they've been hoodwinked for years, and that's a tough (red) pill to swallow.

I wrote this elsewhere in these comments, but it seem self-evident to me. The plan all along was for old Joe to step down for health reasons early in his 2nd term, handing over the presidency to Kamala. Unfortunately for the strategists, old Joe couldn't hold his own until November.

Expand full comment
AKG's avatar

I think the plan went exactly as The Party intended, except for the fact that Harris lost the election. A decision was made that Harris would be the first black female president. So they kept Biden in a deception riddled cocoon until it was too late to have a legitimate primary election, where Harris likely would have lost. Once it was too late for a primary, The Party kicked Biden to the curb and installed their DEI Heir Apparent. Somewhere in the process they forgot that she would actually have to get elected.

Expand full comment

Agree. Basically said the same thing a year ago.

Methinks they never intended to keep him in office if he got reelected. They just thought he was their best chance.

And in their hubris they thought they could guess how long before it was obvious to everyone that Biden was out to pasture...because they thought they were going to win.

Pretty sure Jill brokered that deal. She ended up being the odd man out because she "oversold" the deal.

So it was only a matter of time before the long knives were brought out.

This story, finally exposed, infuriates me on several levels.

1. As a retired newspaper reporter & editor, the lack of curiosity by the press makes my head explode. (Just as the press didn't pursue the covid lies.)

So the White House bullied reporters who questioned Biden's condition? WHY NOT LOCK ARMS AND FORM A UNIFIED FRONT? The whole pack of them could've badgered the silly little press secretary with DEMANDS to talk to Biden's doctors!

2. The entire Congress KNEW what was going on! Even useless congresspersons--such as mine who never interacted with Biden--KNEW. Because they all talk to each other & their staff/aides all gossip with each other. THEY ALL KNEW.

3. Millions of Americans have personal experiences with elderly parents/spouses/siblings/friends in cognitive decline. Plus there's millions of medical professionals who deal with geriatric patients. WE ALL KNEW.

So Chuckie Shumer wants to "move forward?" OK. "Forward = the 2026 mid term elections. THROW OUT ALL INCUMBENTS. They lied to us. They knew Biden was unfit. They knew and they lied.

Personally, I think the scheme was to drag Senile Joe over the finish line, and THEN he'd resign...giving us that Cackling Nitwit VP.

This scandal makes Watergate look like parking violation.

Bang on Rosie! WE ALL KNEW! For years! Since they hid Biden in the basement before the previous election and he all but disappeared. It was flipping OBVIOUS! But they lied and lied and called US conspiracy theorists. But we were absolutely RIGHT! It was Elder Abuse - led by his own family!

And what about the Docs who did his yearly POTUS annual check-ups? They should be banged up too. His staff are ALL liars and cheats. Convict! Convict!

BUT - Thank God we were saved from Kamala - an even worse fate - with even less cognizance! Never forgive & never forget!

The Democrats are toast after this - and the Labour government (their counterparts here in the UK) are doing a similar job of committing political suicide and will hopefully never be elected again. Power to the People!

The boomers, are no people like me they are the well off radicals from the 60's. They infiltrated the education schools and turned teachers into horrendous creatures that know nothing and teach nothing. It took them 3 generations but they have achieved their aims. They used racism for decades but in the 2000's they hit on the most divisive and destructive weapon they have ever deployed. Transgenderism. Our civilization is being destroyed from within. The left is using muslims to do it. What they don't realize is they have doomed themselves along with the rest of us. I spent 10 years teaching in the Muslim world (Iran and Saudi Arabia) and the muslim goals of worldwide domination are central and very very real. It is at the core of their belief system that Islam should dominate the world and the infidels (if they don't convert) should be eliminated.
