But they've made headway in the US, because in my opinion, we are a fat, self satisfied nation, that has had it SO easy in the last 50 years, that we are overly concerned with the most trifling things, for instance that a big proportion of children had gender uncertainty. I think that there is gender uncertainty when young (no doubt) but with proper support and patience, that most difficulties can be fixed (or at least, mitigated) with unconditional love and time. I think in most cases, the puberty blockers and surgery make things worse. I think that there is a political reason and motivation to take advantage of youth uncertainty, and much is child abuse which is concealed under 'concern'.
I have a very unpopular response. The tipping point was same sex marriage. Once that hurdle was cleared, all social norms are on the table for the left. I am content with same sex marriage, if A person wants to make a mistake like marriage and have the state get involved in your personal lives, and you wanna do that on purpose?, I say go for it. But that doesn’t change the fact that the left fought for a mile, and gained a marathon. Now everything is on the table to them.

Yes, and the trial setting is a year away and will likely be re-set further out ... in the legal world, 6 months will go by so quickly with lots of delays and very little happening. But, Alex will be spending lots of money and energy. the only winners in lawsuits are the lawyers.

There's a lawyer, Jeff Childers, who writes a substack called coffee and covid. He does a multiplier thing where he brings awareness to a cause and he asks everyone to donate whatever they can but the amount has to end in 2 so he can track the donations. His last multiple raised $120,000 in 1 day with small donations. Let's bring it to his attention but also anyone who reads this take a moment to donate... No matter how small. We may not be many. We may not be rich (some of us) but together we can do this!

Judges want to leave a legacy. A case which can be a landmark. One that is talked about for years if not decades. I think Judge Alsup sees a case that can establish his creds as a rule of law judge while issuing a landmark ruling
