Keep in mind that by this time, we all had real world experiences to know that this shot failed to stop infection or spread, despite was our experts, media, and President were telling us.
Many kids who only had one year left of college could not afford to throw away these years and start over. Plus, they trusted the experts who were telling them that the shot not only protected them, but it also protected their parents and grandparents. They got the shot. My niece and nephew faced similar mandates in their university. They opted to go home and do community College to avoid the shots. They then found a university in the mid-west that would take them without the shots. They definitely lost some time and are just finishing their studies now. Still shot free.
