Alex your “11 American children drown every day” statement is false. This is ALL ages - not just children. The number for children is 2.5 to 3 per day.

Alex Berenson's avatar

Ahh, you are correct. I should have read that more closely - especially because 4,000 seemed high to me! I will fix.

An epidemic of what 2000 out of 340 million! Vaccination does not work it never did. A virus burns through a population you get it or you don’t. After successive years herd immunity is also inherited. After 100 years measles, rubella, all the other CHILDHOOD diseases has mutated to non lethal by the 1939’s. I had every childhood disease my older sister brought it home I was an infant my brother was a toddler. Everyone I knew every kid at school had all the diseases I never heard of 1 death. ‘Dissolving Illusions’ by Suzanne Humphries. Read it. What an eye opening read. All data and fully sourced. I agree with Kennedy. I have a niece who is 6 and cannot be understood. Never heard of such a thing IT IS A VACCINE SIDE EFFECT. It is debarring if you can’t communicate. Her younger sister received not 1 vaccine. And she is the healthiest of the three.

I grew up before the measles vaccine and never got measles. It was not a feared disease at that time, it was just something you would probably get as a kid and would get over after a week or so. Now the same liars Alex refers to are treating measles like it’s the Black Death. And then they wonder why we don’t trust the Lying Press.

Valerie's avatar

I also grew up before the measles vaccine, and I got the measles. Along with chicken pox, mumps, etc. But you know what I didn’t get? Covid or the flu, have never had either, haven’t been vaccinated for Covid ever and the flu in at least 15 years. My current working theory is that my body developed a very robust immune system from having those illnesses as a kid.

Mark Wallace's avatar

My experience is similar to yours. I got mumps as a kid and chicken pox (from my son) as adult. Neither was a big deal. Not sure about this, but I may have gotten Covid when Omicron was raging. It gave me a stuffy nose that lasted for about four hours and that was it. I do think that getting sick as a kid helps boost a person's immune system for life.

steelyfan's avatar

Same. Never got a flu vax and I get the flu like every 10 years and almost always around Thanksgiving or early Feb. Hope Simpson FTW.

It's interesting to also consider the greater picture: "Thus, official mortality figures from Britain and the United States (as well as data from a handful of other European countries) indicate that the vast majority of the reduction in infectious disease mortality had already transpired by the mid-20th century, before vaccines were widely used. The data is patently clear: Vaccines, as well as medical drugs, had only a marginal impact on the decline in infectious disease mortality. Furthermore, it is quite probable that the downward trend in mortality would have continued even in the absence of vaccines, albeit, perhaps, at a slower rate. In Britain, for example, the death rates for pertussis and measles continued to drop until the years their vaccines were introduced – 1952 and 1969, respectively"

I guess you could say better sanitation (aka civil engineers) have done the major lifting of increasing life span.

I fully agree. That's exactly what I recently told a building services engineer who happens (happened?) to be a strong believer in vaccines. At first he was somehow perplexed, but quickly realised that I wasn’t joking and felt flattered.

Many people are going to continue to wallow in abject misery and death that could be avoided. But 80% of this country doesn’t give a shit. And most here subconsciously know I’m right.

Interesting take on Measles Mania. The main things to note about the spread of measles is:

1. It is indeed one of the most highly contagious diseases.

2. The vaccine works, but not particularly well. The peer-reviewed literature is hard to ignore. Studies on measles reemergence in developed countries found that 2–10% of two-dose recipients never develop protective antibody levels. During the 1989–1991 US outbreak, 20–40% of cases had been previously vaccinated. In a 2011 Canadian outbreak, 52% of cases had received two doses.

3. There is no mandate for adults (unlike school kids who generally are mandated, and who get the vaccine at the 90%+ rate noted in the article. Immunity wanes after a certain time, perhaps 10-20 years, so the overwhelming majority of adults in the US, migrant or not, have no vaccine induced immunity. So much for doing a vax campaign to insure "herd immunity."

4. In outbreaks, anyone who is uncertain (maybe does not carry their vaccine card in their wallet) is counted as unvaccinated. This is how the authorities claim that the majority of people who get measles are unvaccinated. A similar trick was played with Covid vax status/infection rates.

5. Truth is that taking the vaccine is no guarantee of immunity at all, and like every medical product, taking the MMR shot comes with some risks.

I disagree that a campaign to vaccinate every migrant would help. Offering them a choice is justified, but not mandating MMR shots.

Joy Engberg's avatar

Agree on these points.

I would add 6. Are the cases 'wild' or are they from people who were vaccinated and 'shed' onto those who were not? That question also needs to be answered--what strain are we 'dealing' with because that has gone unanswered EVERY time we get an outbreak. Even in migrant populations--if someone near them was vaccinated--they could get measles.

7. Why are we 'freaking' out--when clearly the Brady Bunch had an entire episode on getting the measles and how it was 'no big deal'--never negating that people do die from measles (the flu, common cold, etc) but we also need to look at those who do, their health, and be honest about those deaths.

FCinNH's avatar

As to your fourth point. Those medical systems that used EPIC could not enter vaccinations if they did not occur within the system. So if one went to a pharmacist or any of the community vaccination sites during COVID and their regular providers were using EPIC (as so many now do) that vaccination event could not be entered in the section for "vaccines" but had to be entered as a stand-alone note that would not show up when statistics were being run as to who was getting COVID. That was one of the factors that increased the "unvaccinated getting COVID" numbers that were also distorted by the fact that "vaccination" was only registered as being two weeks past your second dose. A LOT of people got COVID between their first dose and two weeks past their second dose. Those should have been classified as "partially vaccinated" rather than "unvaccinated." But that wasn't the narrative they were pushing, facts be damned.

Natalie C.'s avatar

My husband's 92 year old grandmother, who was kept isolated in her nursing home room for about a year because of COVID, died "from COVID" 2 weeks after her first MRNA shot.

She was technically "unvaccinated" as she hadn't had the second dose and she got COVID from the vax. I can only imagine how many other people this happened to. Side note: they weren't going to let my MIL be there when she died. She had to fight to get in and had to wear one of those contagion suits to be in the same room as her.

Contrarian's avatar

As to Point #2 at the time of the 1989-1991 outbreak most children had only received a single measles vaccination dose, the standard recommendation at the time. Most Pediatric Infectious Disease specialists thought this was primarily due to primary vaccine failure because of higher levels of passively acquired measles antibody from their mothers that interfered with the development of an adequate immune response to vaccination. That led to the recommendation for the second dose which was initially at 11-12 years of age, but subsequently lowered to pre-kindergarten entry (4-6 years). New York was the first state to mandate the two-dose schedule for school entry, starting in the fall of 1990. Following the introduction of the 2nd dose measles cases dropped from 27,786 in 1990 to 312 in 1993. Because the 1989-1991 outbreak was largely in inner cities, the Vaccines for Children program was adopted in the Fall of 1994, to eliminate cost as a barrier to vaccination.

Cranky Frankie's avatar

I can believe that failure to recall a measles vaccination puts you into the "unvaccinated" data basket. This is especially true since this bolsters the counter-narrative that vaccination is an absolute defense against infection. Finally, privacy laws prevent examining the sources of the claimed data points. That doesn't mean they are wrong but certainly casts doubt.

Mandating things for citizens but not immigrants, legal or illegal, makes no sense.

Thanks for the article. And, in particular, the note on Ukrainian immigrants to the US.

For what it's worth, I am raising three unvaccinated kids in Kyiv. Many we know don't trust vaccines. The uptake rate is low. And... with three kids in school, we have never encountered any schoolchildren with autism. I don't notice asthma, peanut allergies, frequent ear infections, autoimmune diseases and other such ailments that parents used to talk about in private schools in Montgomery County, Md.

Coincidence? It's the kind of coincidence I can live with.

Graham Seibert's avatar

Let me add ADHD. My firstborn, now adult, got all of the childhood vaccines and was treated for tactile defensiveness / ADHD throughout school. He is a non-functional adult. The Henry Ford Health study cited by Aaron Siri in Vaccines, Amen found that no unvaccinated kids had ADHD. Vaccination group, maybe 9x bigger, had a couple of hundred. Nobody here talks about ADHD

Ryan Gardner's avatar

You're right. And im sorry for the situation with your child. God bless you.

And it's not just ADHD. Look at the explosion of celiacs disease, etc.

Its crazy how obvious some of this stuff is, yet it's so illusory to those who believe everything the "experts" say.

If nothing else, I believe the scamdemic has opened a lot of eyes to the criminality of the medical industrial complex.

I started school in January 1944 in Washington DC, there were about 300 kids in my school based, on my graduation picture. There was a special class of kids with (developmental issues). They had their own classroom and there was never more than 8 or 10. My wife was an OT and worked with this group, in a similar sized school, from 1990-2015 with at least 30 kids and the number was growing. Plus the most challenged were to a a separate school and not counted in the total.

We keep missing the big picture. Why do we have a society-wide mass vaccination regime that artificially stimulates infant/childhood immune systems dozens of times in the first few years of their lives, while the overall robustness of our kids according to multiple metrics is in decline?

Polio, yes - a vaccine was a godsend. But, to take a random example - measles? 4,000 cases, three deaths, a .025 MR. As we learned to ask with Covid, were there any distinguishing co-morbidities common to those three? That is where the focus should be. But instead we simply declare that 3 out of 4000 is too many, shame anyone who disagrees, and completely ignore the possibility that we most likely are making one or more "cure is worse than the disease" trade-offs we do not want to admit or even learn about. So with vaccine makers making millions behind a liability shield manufactured by Congress, we hunt for ever-more nuisance diseases to vaccinate against, willfully oblivious to any combined effect of injecting so much sera into the blood of all of our children.

Amy's avatar

Actually, polio was on the decline BEFORE the vax was widely available. Please read The Moth in the Iron Lung, very informative and eye opening regarding the timeline of events.

This was a great article. Thanks to you and to DR. Franklin. This confirms what I have been saying for months. The per capita statistics for the US versus Canada are convincing. Can anyone be surprised that when immigrants come into our countries with little of no vetting, especially without medical vetting, that diseases previously nearly eradicated would begin to reappear? It is insanity of a sort and corruption of a kind.

Yeah, this so much more than just about vaccines.

The most dangerous demographic in the world is:

Affluent white female liberals.

The reason this has happened in Canada and the rest of the world is because of WEAK-ASS men (same with scamdemic).

How much sense does this make?

Woke women:

we hate men

Also woke women:

advocate for open borders bringing the most dangerous men to our country.

Strong men would tune that shit out and use violence (yes, I said violence) against these criminals from shithole countries that rape, murder and grift off the fruits of western civilization.

Violence works, and thats why government has a monopoly on it and uses it regularly.

Bullseye! But it is worse.

The actual 2020 Democrat primary was between and among Cuomovirus, Witmer, Walz, Wolfe, Murphy, and Newsome. Why?

These Democrat governors all proved their elective viability by putting Covid patients into senior centers to Redrum the seniors.

Newsome was late to the Seniorcidal party so he obsessively advertised that infants needed to Covid vaccine - to amplify his depopulation fides.

And then the Democrats did their Democrat thing by, irrespective of the voters, sliding some candidates in and sliding other candidates out - smooth as a jailhouse shiv….or better yet, smooth as a suppository.

Edit: Who are the Democrat front-runners in 2028? Hochul, Witmer, and the Oregon or Washington governors. Why?

Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) is now the 4th leading cause of death. Need a new hip? Sorry - but we can help with the unalive thingy.

These governors support a similar program for their states and the country.

Please watch the 1969 Brady Bunch episode where all 6 kids get the measles. The measles are a normal part of a healthy child's build up of their immune system. Like the chicken pox and mumps they are NORMAL and good for healthy children. The childhood poison schedule is INSANE. STOP VACCINATING OUR CHILDREN! MMR is POISON!!! If humans were this WEAK we would all be DEAD thousands of years ago!! Big Pharma has caused this HYSTERIA for PROFIT.

I'd like to note two things: 1) measles is more dangerous for adults than for children, except for very young children, under 2. 2) the large outbreak in 1989-90 was largely in young adults and many of the deaths were in young adults. The background: the original public health assumption was that one dose of the vaccine would do the trick. When that turned out to be incorrect, there was NO ATTEMPT to track down the millions of children and young adults who had been vaccinated but were now possibly vulnerable to measles. Instead, a second dose was added to the schedule for little kids (I think they put it in the 4 or 5 year old slot) and everyone else was ignored. I had measles as a child back in the 1950s. The assumption is that having measles provides lifelong immunity and it does seem to work. That horrific outbreak and the deaths that occurred were a public health failure.

P. J. Eller's avatar

I had what they called them in the 50's, Old fashioned measles. Fever of 104 (I'm told) Dr came every day. What's interesting is NO one else from my school had or got them. What's more interesting is that as I was just healing from the measles, I got the Mumps and just as I was getting close to being let out of "solitary/my bedroom) I got the Chicken pox. My only visitors were my mother, Grandmother and the Doctor. The doctor told my mother there were no other cases of Mumps or Chickenpox during that time. ...... Interesting huh! Years later, My own daughters had the 3 day measles and yes both had been vaccinated.

Kate's avatar

I am so glad i had the measles as a kid. I have lifetime immunity.

FCinNH's avatar

One of the things about natural immunity is that it often targets more that one protein on the virus or bacteria. Vaccines too often cause the immune system to only see one protein. If that protein mutates a little the immune system may recognize it, react, but the antibodies produced are ineffective because they can't inactivate the virus because they can't really "lock" onto the protein. But because the system has reacted, it may not proceed to generate a new set of antibodies targeted to proteins it hadn't been exposed to before. This is immunological imprinting, or original antigenic sin. It's one of the reasons flu vaccines have such poor results because your body responds to the flu vaccine, not by creating new antibodies, but churning out the antibodies you developed the first time you got the flu.

Cookie momster's avatar

Disagreee with no attempt to track vaccinated but vulnerable. Pediatricians (mine) gave me (born in 1969) an extra dose. And Duke university insisted I get another MMR before beginning grad school in 1992. Nationwide effort, no, but doctors and institutions were addressing the problem. Yes vulnerable people were missed, but lots did get a needed booster.

Deborah's avatar

Thank you for that clarification. So they tried and largely failed, rather than not trying at all. And I sort of remember an effort to avoid blaming any public health failures as playing a part. Following the outbreak: "In 1994, the VFC program was launched as part of national health care reform efforts during the Clinton Administration. The centerpiece of the program is an entitlement that provides free vaccines to children aged 18 and younger who are uninsured, Alaska Native or Native American, or who eligible for Medicaid, or receive their vaccines in a federally qualified health center (FQHC). A key goal of the program is to enable children receiving public assistance to be immunized within their medical home rather than in a public health clinic. The result has been a massive shift of safety net immunizations from approximately 3,300 public clinics to well over 40,000 private providers. This program has also expanded the public share of vaccine purchases from roughly 35 percent to 52–55 percent of all childhood vaccines (Orenstein, 2002a). Under the program, CDC negotiates the prices of vaccines, which are then ordered by the states at the federal contract price." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK221822/ Basically a huge subsidy increase for vaccine manufacturers and pediatricians.

The Covid debacle was initiated by unadulterated panic. To be sure, segments of the public were at risk and vulnerable, but there was no medical justification for the sheer terror that was rife among the progressive class. By late 2020-21 there were plenty of people who fervently believed Covid was going to kill everyone, as preposterous as that now sounds.

I suspect the effects of the rush to vaccinate will be felt for many years to come.
