White guy kills a seagull: 8 months in prison

Black guy kills a man: misdemeanor, released

Black guy kills a pregnant mom and her unborn child: not guilty by reason of insanity, baby doesn’t count as a human

Red guards in black robes have destroyed the value of justice and life. The purpose of a system is what it does. Blue states let thugs get away with murder: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/how-to-get-away-with-murder

You can’t push your religion (communism) if you don’t have chaos in the streets. And if you can’t believe that just look at the last 40 years. Infiltrate the government, education system, judicial system, and have plenty of NGO‘s to deliver the money.

Bingo communism reigns.

Rebecca Johnson's avatar

You're right! The chaos is the point, it's a necessary component to the overall plan. Once everything is sufficiently chaotic, people beg them to swoop in and restore order. Thinking anything is better than the chaos. Next thing you know, the IRGC is putting women in beekeeper costumes.

Dena's avatar

Based on Tucker Carlson’s recent admiration of non chaotic Muslim countries ( his assessments), that they’re more advanced than western countries he’s willing to bend a knee to sharia, not walk his dog in public & cover his wife & daughter in order to have societal order.

WHIJAM..

White

Heterosexual

Male…

The number one targeted individual by the Left, not only in the United States, but across the globe.

So, if you’re involved with someone who has those six characteristics, and you vote Democrat, just kill your spouse/ husband/ companion/ close friend tonight and then tell everybody it was your right to kill such a useless unnecessary person.

I just hope someone puts a bullet in your face after you admit you did it, so you have to have a closed casket funeral.

Ken Kunda's avatar

Just build a wall around Seattle and keep all the people in since there is no way of knowing who is sane and who is not. The people who vote for these fools are just as much to blame and the wackos.

Dena's avatar

It’s all blue states & cities.

Tall Chick's avatar

And even in the purple states (NC).

DividedUpWorld's avatar

May that city and others like it, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, burn to the ground and take as many lives as they can with it.

Mark Wallace's avatar

Too bad Ms. Dalton wasn’t walking two giant Dobermans that could have torn her assailant to pieces. Now that would have been poetic justice.

Demeisen's avatar

The entire foundation of ceding violence to the state is to provide justice (not mercy). In the absence of that, recourse to violence can (and arguably should) revert to the individual.

In the meantime, most Asians who are not posing for white elite virtue signalling know they are 200x more likely to be assaulted by a black than an "evil white supremacist" (that mythical entity).

Plan, and carry, accordingly.

Eugene H's avatar

So what? Keep pontificating. Woe is me. We are the victims. Just keep turning the other cheek. You can see how far that has gotten you.

working rich's avatar

The way it should be handled is that they are convicted of the crime but insane. When dumped out of the insane asylum, they should serve the prison term.

Common sense does not exist in our legal system.

Chartertopia's avatar

Exactly! The point of the trial should be to determine if the defendant committed the crime and is a danger to society who needs to be isolated from the public. The nature of that isolation should be a separate matter, but if the guy refuses to take his meds, that's on him, and should lead to isolation from other prisoners who aren't a danger to each other.

Rehabilitation matters mostly to those with short sentences who will be released. That requires they have a reasonably safe life in prison, and good behavior should be rewarded, if just to make life less dangerous to guards.

That's as far as I'm willing to go for prisoner rights -- that if they cooperate in creating a safe environment for fellow prisoners and guards, they should be rewarded with a library, internet, phone calls, visitors, better food, and whatever else incentives them. If they don't cooperate, they deserve an explanation and a chance to cooperate, and not much else, not even a cot or blankets if they destroy them, or food if they throw it at guards, or a clean cell if they refuse to clean it themselves.

Let's connect the dots. In every courtroom there is a judge, a defense attorney and a prosecutor. They are all lawyers. Who can you count on to come out ahead in every courtroom? The lawyers.

So it really is a very effective system, for lawyers. The ABA is controlled by democrats. Are you surprised?

Rebecca Johnson's avatar

Not all judges have ever been lawyers or even gone to law school. Depends on the state and the level of the court.

Dr. K's avatar

Almost all of the bad ones (and that is most of them) are lawyers.

The Radical Individualist's avatar

You're technically correct. But lawfare is all lawyers, all the time.

Here's something I wrote awhile back that relates.

I don't want either Haynes or Goosby to go to prison... or a mental institution. They both should be executed in the same way they murdered their victims.

We kill rabid dogs. These people are the equivalent.

Wolfpak5's avatar

The real insanity is all the people that vote for Democrats to keep these states blue.

PDG's avatar

The media reports what they want and hides these sorts of cases. The democrats play book is to act like children and sow chaos into society during any republican administration. The media blames the republicans and the idiots out there vote democrats because they are incapable of thinking for themselves. See last two Trump Administrations and the Bush Administration for more clarity.

Wolfpak5's avatar

Yes, useful idiots.

JLE's avatar

Not useful to me. Just idiots.

As one who lives on Portland, this is why so many dont go downtown anymore. Two years ago, we had a late flight into pdx, there was a wreck on the freeway so we had to take a detour on side streets at 1:00am.

It literally looked like we were in an episode of the Walking Dead. Drug induced zombies were walking around like in a movie. Others driving were terrified and froze in the streets not knowing what to do. I drove around them as it seemed smarter to keep going.

Anyway- this is the northwest where criminals are king.

Btw- the previous governor Kate Brown gave clemency to a serial killer who has killed again.

Brogan12's avatar

HOW do Portlandites ENABLE this with their VOTES?

LRH's avatar

I know you know this, the golden rule is not who vote, but who’s counting the vote.

Brogan12's avatar

Right that is a LEGIT reality. Listening to Trump right now LIVE in Memphis talking about just how IMPORTANT the SAVE ACT is. Probably the greatest ACT for AMERICAN security in the history of America and still ALL the BLUE politicians along with some RINOs stand against the will of the people on this. Look at CA alone how they fully corrupted the voting process

LRH's avatar

Agree! Born and raised in commiefornia. The voting system in this state has been corrupt for a very long time. I have to laugh when I see some of the news outlets say that there might be a republican governor.

Yeah, that ain’t gonna happen.

Brogan12's avatar

Exactly it can't with what is "allowed" to be in CA. Just the definition of insanity for sure! I would LOVE to see Hilton elected, but not gonna happen as it stands there

PDG's avatar

If it did happen, the republican would have to garner about 90% of the vote to win. Anything less will be a loss.

Brian's avatar

LOL. People who think Portland is like this because of fraudulent voting have never been to Portland, apparently.

Trust me, I've lived in Portland suburbs for over 15 years now and can tell you this: no fraud is necessary.

Dawn Pegis's avatar

Or DISTRIBUTING/collecting mail in ballots. Look up John Solomon (Just the News) latest ‘find’ released today. China stealing/hacking Voter rolls 2020. Dems refusing to clean voter roles &/or verify signatures; instead leaving non-citizens on rolls (then they’re sent ballots). These VERIFIED findings are just coming out. Main media will avoid reporting or ‘spin’ to hide actual facts.

Mark Wallace's avatar

The enduring mystery is why dead people always vote Democrat.

Louise C's avatar

Reminds me of Johnny Rocco, (Edward G Robinson), in the movie Key Largo. "Get my boys to bring the voters out. And then count the votes over and over again till they added up right."

It's True's avatar

Even the old 3 strikes law is a huge amount of leeway. In these blue cities/states it is 30 strikes and you are out - out of jail that is.

Milliesmum's avatar

As friends & I prepare to send our children off to college, reports like this make me vomit in my mouth. The first role of government is to maintain safety & order; Seattle is one of many blue cities that is failing miserably.

While I don’t want to encourage blue state nutters to further pollute red states & cities by sending more of their kids to schools in NC & TX, I certainly wouldn’t send my daughter to DC, NYC, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, or anywhere in Cali for school.

TPAinthe212's avatar

There are many people of other races who are mentally ill, but why is it that so often the violent ones are black? (And no, “racism” does not explain or justify it.)

Danno's avatar

I don't believe we can have a rational discussion about the real reason.

Rebecca Johnson's avatar

It's cultural, per Thomas Sowell.

It'sMeAgain's avatar

I have wondered if the cause is actual brain damage, due to the legacy of, say, crack cocaine use. There are OTC medications if, used improperly, that can cause organ damage/failure (such as acetaminophen with the liver), so why wouldn't it be possible for street drugs to have a similar affect, but instead on the brain?

Peggy Rives's avatar

Mary Jane. Read “Tell Your Children “

reality speaks's avatar

Because every racist in this world is black.

TPAinthe212's avatar

But black activists insist that blacks cannot be racist because having power is a prerequisite for racism, which their afro-pessimist ideology insists they still lack.

reality speaks's avatar

See they are racists if the only thing that matters is the color of you skin you are a racist

Danno's avatar

If it gets much worse, we'll see a rise in vigilantism -- something which the state seems to hate far more than even the most egregious crimes.

Rebecca Johnson's avatar

They hate vigilantism because most of the time justice is served.

TimCNY's avatar

As usual, the criminal justice system has inverted justice. There is nothing in the Constitution that demands a person be able to participate in their own defense. Some violations of the law involve arcane legal concepts that few untrained people can understand. Ignorance of the law, we have been told is no defense. But isn't that the basis of these insanity pleas?

I think those claimed to be insane should be tried based on the facts. At sentencing, it may be determined that mental health treatment should come first and then, if they are cured, start their incarceration. But the current process is backwards.

We live in Spokane, Washington. Our state is spiraling down into a complete cesspool thanks to liberal ideology.

Seattle used to be a wonderful place to visit, but it’s too dangerous now. The homeless situation and decay is visible everywhere.

In truth, Spokane isn’t far behind either. Washington State continues to vote for progressives, who refuse to deal with our major crime problems, and worse, when we vote against something, our legislators figure out a way to STILL ram something down our throats.

I was born here 68 years ago, and our goal is to move to Idaho soon. We already have a home there.

Isn’t it sad to leave a place you once loved?

Brogan12's avatar

The pacific NW is a problem and overtly so for a long time now!

Dave Teague's avatar

Absolutely agree with you! Washington, Oregon and California lead the insane charge too🙌🏻

Brian's avatar

As a fellow Washingtonian, I feel you pain.

Olympia has REALLY ramped up the new taxes recently. Somehow, I'm guessing the new funds won't reduce crime.

Dave Teague's avatar

You’re right! There is absolutely No method to THEIR madness.

Creigh Kelley's avatar

Alex, this is beyond contempt (as my mother once said). I cannot imagine the despair the victim's families are feeling through their respective nightmares.

Wolfpak5's avatar

Victimized twice. First by the criminal. Second, by our judicial system.

Doug Young's avatar

This is the same jurisdiction that has thrown Kurt Benshoof in jail for 10 years, basically for fighting COVID restrictions up there, but of course convicted of felony harassment and stalking his own son because his ex had issues w/Benshoof (he was dinged for calls that came FROM the son). He's represented by Robert Barnes, who has covered his case extensively on his podcast, and they're appealing to SCOTUS.

JB Santise's avatar

Did I miss the part about how an obviously mentally ill person ended up with a gun in the first place?

I'm from Philadelphia so nothing in your post surprises me.

JLE's avatar

At this point, you would have to be insane to live in Seattle. If you're still sane and living there, vote these "people" out of office.

DMC's avatar

irrespective of what is happening you have to assume that voters are quite content withthe state of things and probably consider these situations unavoidable.

What they would never continence is voting for the right wing bible thumpers. that would be a bridge too far.

JLE's avatar

They will not defend themselves in any way, shape or form. Death wish. Fullfilled.

DMC's avatar

when Giuliani cleaned up times Square specifically and the rest of Manhatten generally there was from time to time stories in the NYT and New Yorker nostalgic for the old days when New York had that raw vibe. they never dealt with the mayhem and misery that was such an essential part of "that vibe."

JLE's avatar

There's a very real difference between a 'cool vibe' and being murdered by a repeat offender because bureaucrats want to be seen as cool. The current vibe is not "raw", it's "psycho-killers rule". Hard pass.

David Westall's avatar

We do not owe violent offenders mentally ill or not a life of treatment. Once a person proves that they are threat to lives and physical welfare of citizens they should tried, convicted of the act, given a state sponsored review of the trial and then put to death. They have proven themselves incapable of living in society… any society.
