Stepping back and taking a deep breath, here is a different way of thinking about the new bivalent vaccines and mandates and other sorts of public policy issues (masking, schools, etc).
If Omicron was the first strain, and the consequences are what we are seeing now, would there be a rush to vaccinate everyone with a not even close to fully tested vaccine? I highly doubt it. Would there be hysteria about Omicron? I doubt it too. Might be handwringing amongst some, but I doubt hysteria.
Look how people are behaving now. For the most part, people are going about their lives as normal. I think the 2009 h1n1 was probably worse than Omicron. That also was bad for younger people and children. 80% of the deaths were below the age of 65. And nobody even blinked, there was no rush to vaccinate, and everyone went about their business as normal for the most part.
And yet, with the mildness of Omicron, we need to rush a not fully tested product to market, and some are trying to mandate vaccination with it again? I guess there is a lot of power to momentum, and a lot of power to pharmaceutical $ and their captured pals at the FDA, CDC and political class as well.
I go back to my point. If Omicron was the first strain, would we be rushing to vaccinate people against it with a much less than fully tested product? I doubt it.

FURTHER, now we know that the vaccines do not work as advertised, they might be dangerous both over the short term (myocarditis, etc) and long term (cancer, compromised immune systems, ADE and antigenic sin making those more susceptible to the virus, etc), and we know the virus in its current incarnation is incredibly mild and only dangerous for a small category of people (certainly not the young), and we are still going to go forward with new untested vaccines?

(MY OWN ADD: I am starting to believe that the number of people who take an Omicron booster will be very low - so low as to be yet another huge embarrassment for health authorities, governments, and the media. Think single digits for people under 50, if not older. That rejection will mark the true end of Covid.)
I live in a strongly blue suburb. I think a good number of people here will still run out for the new boosters. They can’t accept the truth, facts - because that would implicate them in the harm of their own children. Continuing to participate in the narrative will keep their heads from exploding.
Have you ever seen ANY other pharmaceutical advertised on ANY media platform that did not list the potential adverse side effects? NOTHING about this makes sense.
The madness continues in many ways. Just dropped a loved off at a complicated dental specialist appt - was not allowed to wait in waiting room unless patient is a minor or needs assistance (neither of which applies). So if this loved one has any questions they can’t articulate to the specialist and where I could help because I’m not the nervous patient - oh well that’s Covid for you. I’m sick and tired of these excuses.
One group that may have tragically high new 💉 rate is college students. If schools mandated boosters and if the students are more left-leaning and gullible than other adults.
The issue is that people are still looking at this through a "health" lens. When we went to Afghanistan, or Iraq, or Kuwait, or Syria, or sent billions to Ukraine, why did we do it?
The answer is always the same. We can't just print money to print money, then people will ask questions. We HAVE to have a crisis in order to justify printing money, and to service our debt we HAVE to print money.
Everyone overcomplicates things by looking bottom up. Just look top down and it becomes a lot simpler. Trump was railroaded out of office before he ever got there because he said he was ending foreign wars and bringing soldiers home, and that dried up what has been the 30 year foundation of our continued Ponzi scheme.
But wars aren't fun anymore, no one is scared of terrorism any longer, and, perhaps more importantly, no one cares to defend the "democracy" or "freedoms" of the US at this point. So, what had to come next - and be VERY clear, when your entire system is built around debt, something HAS to come next?
Well, they tried climate but it just isn't scary enough, so it never fully took hold (they can screw around the edges, and they do, but that's all it ever became because even the biggest lefties aren't willing to stop driving, or flying, or using plastics, etc... etc... etc...), and then they were handed the next best option. We are old, we are fat, and we are 70 years removed from any real conflict so we are VERY soft. So, a very mild respiratory disease was perfect. Very few (none if you look at Sweden's data) extra people would actually die, but you'd have the perfect excuse for TRILLIONS more dollars printed and circulated to service our debt.
But they don't have a next plan yet, so this plan has to keep working. Right now medical spending is THE foundation of our Ponzi scheme, and they need at least a few years before they move on to the next thing.
But they will - and it will be like COVID never even happened... except when some future president lets it slip that this was all a farse like Bush accidentally did about Afghanistan

The measures deployed to combat covid19 had almost NOTHING to do with fighting disease and a Hell of a lot to do with wealth transfer and to "soften" the world's useless eaters (us) to accept a serf-like existence while "our betters" luxuriate in obscene decadence and perversion. I know this: the emergency use authorization of vaccines will continue just as long as the govt can continue to extend the “emergency.” Nice to have no liability whatsoever. My 39 year old son had to have heart surgery (ablation) to correct the severe Afib he developed two days after having to take the Pfizer vaccine because of a Microsoft mandate. They could not control the Afib, even with meds. This young man, by the way, is a very healthy athlete.
I just finished watching your Joe Rogan interview and didn't know where to post this so it is a bit off topic. At the very end of the interview, you were talking about Trump and blaming him for the malfeasance of both the MSM and now DOJ/FBI. I think you need to reflect that because of your leanings, you are literally blaming the victim. The FBI went after Trump in 2016 to spy on him and they were the aggressors throughout. Even after you have personally experienced the lies of big tech and MSM, you still try to defend them as if it is someone else's fault they they are choosing dishonesty. They are solely to blame for their behavior. Trump (or anyone else for that matter) is innocent. The MSM, FBI, DOJ etc. have made their choices.
The people who have gotten four vaccines to date and who will get the new vax for Omicron cannot be reasoned with. To me, they are a lost cause. I work with people who have gotten four vaccines, and they've gotten Covid more than once, and they plan to keep getting vaccinated. Some of these people are in the medical field too. There is nothing you can do with people who are in this mindset.
The part I don't understand is the mentality of people. I saw a roughly 5-9" guy, roughly 280 lbs, at the store last week. He was double-masked. I had so many questions and/or observations.
1. You clearly don't care about your health, so why the masks?
2. The overweight are at a higher risk, so maybe you do care and are just being super careful?
3. You're mentally ill.
4. Your two masks don't fit right, there's a gap on either side, rendering them 100% useless, assuming they're doing anything anyway.
5. What do you think about the fact that no one else around you has masks on?

Why cannot we demand/vote out/force the ridiculous, out dated, emergency use authorization to end? There is no longer (or ever was!?) an emergency. Guy near me, 71; known him for a few years, just a nodding acquaintance in the neighborhood really; diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2020 (at the start of the madness) and had all removed down there. No vaxx required back then. Did OK through 2021, but now has had 4 shots due to hospital mandates (this is Canada where if you breathe anywhere close to a hospital you have to be vaxxed). He had to go for periodic check-ups. Last week - he was told the cancer was back, now in his pelvis, and upper thighs. Has a few months to live. Tell me Dr Ryan Cole was wrong. I know I can hear it, this doesn't prove causality. This is the second person I know that this has happened to in the last few months. The first one is dead now.
Again, the question HAS to be asked: "Is the ridiculous exaggerated, dangerous (maybe even genocidal) and criminal behavior of the "Public Health Officials" AROUND THE WORLD, simply a matter of the profit motive for the pharmaceutical industry????

I am a patient at a large Virginia Concierge Practice. Across the board all the docs stopped recommending CV 19 boosters months ago. And recently the medical director in his weekly newsletter came out against the new Omnicron variant vaccine because it has no human testing.

Your assumption that the number taking it may be in the single digits among people under 50 doesn't take into consideration the possibility that many will be coerced into doing so by employers and schools. Even with the CDC pulling back on its "guidance" on vaccines, colleges and universities all over the country are requiring 2 doses and a booster just to start the fall semester. I'm sure they would have included this crap if it had been available by the deadlines they set to submit proof of being jabbed. God knows what they'll demand for the spring semester. And schools for younger kids in many places (I'm looking at you DC) may well, are even likely, to lay down the covid jab mandate once the elections are over. Here in Berkeley I’m predicting >50% bivalent booster uptake. I have friends and former friends that “can’t wait to take it.” They’ll take the next one too, and the one after that. My mom was in the hospital during the H1N1 outbreak. I walked in her room and the nurse was in there about to inject her with the Vax along with a pneumonia Vax. My mom was not conscious and we had no idea if she was going to live. I stopped her so fast her head was spinning. I had to sign a waiver because I wouldn't allow them to give her that crap.
My parents will both turn 80 this year. Neither of them wants the new booster. They did originally get the 2-shot Pfizer series, but they declined those boosters as well. They're big "Coffee & Covid" fans -- eyes are wide open now. Most of their friends also did the original jabs, but have no interest in the boosters.

I live in California, and I've recently noticed a curious thing...when reading Fox news online there is a new placeholder ad within the articles from the CA dept of heath with suggestions on how to "Stop the Spread." It mentions handwashing, wearing masks indoors (insert eyeroll), staying home if sick. But nowhere does it mention vaccines. The message to Vaccinate! used to be everywhere here, now it seems notably absent from the discussion on how to prevent covid. Have the so-called experts here finally given up the ghost? Or, are they just biding their time until the newer booster is available?
Not directly related but certainly indicative of the "mass formation" of which I've read, and certainly applicable to the mindset regarding the vaccines themselves. I live in the United States Virgin Islands. Population of approx. 100,000 with total Covid deaths at 122, virtually all of them over 80 years old. We dropped the mask mandates here several months ago. I would say that approximately 75% of the population are still wearing masks. There are still people walking alone, driving alone, sitting alone and wearing masks. My wife and I just returned from a week in Puerto Rico. No mask mandates. At least 95% of the population is still wearing masks. Kindly and calmly explaining that this measure affords zero protection to no one proves to be as useless as the masks themselves.

African-Americans are bold in every sense of their being. They earned the right to vote and they shouldn't mind to stand up to vote their conscience, in public, proud to say so. Don't try to buy the vote of anyone; instead, educate citizens of all colors, ethnicities, backgrounds, educations, of the beauties of the freedoms provided by the framework of our UNIQUE nation, America and the U.S. Constitution. I am a patient at a large Virginia Concierge Practice. Across the board all the docs stopped recommending CV 19 boosters months ago. And recently the medical director in his weekly newsletter came out against the new Omnicron variant vaccine because it has no human testing.
I have a logistical question.
If a kid turns 5 in January and now the parents can take the kid to get the shot, would the child have to get the three first shoots from Pfizer (2 shots, then booster) before getting the bivalent shot? Because if so, some 5 year-olds are about the get f#cked by their patents here in the People's Republic of California. 4 mRNA shots in 3 months, what could go wrong, beside climate change induced heart attacks?

Your assumption that the number taking it may be in the single digits among people under 50 doesn't take into consideration the possibility that many will be coerced into doing so by employers and schools. Even with the CDC pulling back on its "guidance" on vaccines, colleges and universities all over the country are requiring 2 doses and a booster just to start the fall semester. I'm sure they would have included this crap if it had been available by the deadlines they set to submit proof of being jabbed. God knows what they'll demand for the spring semester. And schools for younger kids in many places (I'm looking at you DC) may well, are even likely, to lay down the covid jab mandate once the elections are over. Clearly, our education establishment has not a scrap of concern for their students. And I can't help wondering what is in the heads of parents who willingly go along with it.
Here in Berkeley I’m predicting >50% bivalent booster uptake. I have friends and former friends that “can’t wait to take it.” They’ll take the next one too, and the one after that. Even after they get covid and/or have a bad reaction they’ll keep going. Most of this town is all in on this madness. All the way to the end. My mom was in the hospital during the H1N1 outbreak. I walked in her room and the nurse was in there about to inject her with the Vax along with a pneumonia Vax. My mom was not conscious and we had no idea if she was going to live. I stopped her so fast her head was spinning. I had to sign a waiver because I wouldn't allow them to give her that crap.

My parents will both turn 80 this year. Neither of them wants the new booster. They did originally get the 2-shot Pfizer series, but they declined those boosters as well. They're big "Coffee & Covid" fans -- eyes are wide open now. Most of their friends also did the original jabs, but have no interest in the boosters.
I am 80, hubby 82 we have gotten 3 shots each. Will not get anymore....we are DONE!

I’m 67. Given my age and that I was then caring for my 95 year old mom in my home, I had the jab three times. I have not yet, to my knowledge, had Covid. Given how mild the symptoms now are and given that I have a heart condition, I will not get anymore jabs.
I live in California, and I've recently noticed a curious thing...when reading Fox news online there is a new placeholder ad within the articles from the CA dept of heath with suggestions on how to "Stop the Spread." It mentions handwashing, wearing masks indoors (insert eyeroll), staying home if sick. But nowhere does it mention vaccines. The message to Vaccinate! used to be everywhere here, now it seems notably absent from the discussion on how to prevent covid. Have the so-called experts here finally given up the ghost? Or, are they just biding their time until the newer booster is available?

Not directly related but certainly indicative of the "mass formation" of which I've read, and certainly applicable to the mindset regarding the vaccines themselves. I live in the United States Virgin Islands. Population of approx. 100,000 with total Covid deaths at 122, virtually all of them over 80 years old. We dropped the mask mandates here several months ago. I would say that approximately 75% of the population are still wearing masks. There are still people walking alone, driving alone, sitting alone and wearing masks. My wife and I just returned from a week in Puerto Rico. No mask mandates. At least 95% of the population is still wearing masks. Kindly and calmly explaining that this measure affords zero protection to no one proves to be as useless as the masks themselves.

I would note a few factors not mentioned:
1) Omicron was a natural variant; the Alpha was engineered.
2) The panic was intentionally foisted upon us by Fauci et al and dutifully magnified by media.
3) The goal was Emergency Powers (still in effect) to seize population, and thus (redundantly) political control.
Therefore, nothing has to make sense. It only has to achieve the goal.

Question for Alex, especially, but also for others here: perhaps needs further analysis. How come Israel, which is so protective of its people and scientifically and technologically advanced, pushed the Pfizer vaccine (and lockdowns, masks, etc.) on their people to such a strong degree? In fact, their COVID and vaccine data collection and analysis, per our MSM, was far superior than that of the US and very often quoted up until at least six months, perhaps a year ago. Little-to-no COVID and vaccine news out of Israel being reported in US MSM (or anywhere) recently. The fact that Israel was using Pfizer actually encouraged me that it was probably safe.
I'm over 60, regret having taken 1, 2, and 3, and will never take another COVID jab.
