Russia’s propaganda war is going as well as its real war. And not because of Twitter bans. The marketplace for ideas works.

The Russian failure proves yet again Big Tech censorship is counterproductive and useless. Too bad mRNA vaccine fanatics can't see the problem is their product, not "misinformation."

If the Covid vaccines worked, no one would be reading this email.

“Misinformation” is not a thing. Misinformation is the other side of a debate, facts and data the would-be censors don’t like.

Flat-out lies are a thing. But flat-out lies don’t work. Despite what the censorship-loving woke mob says, they may actually work less well than they ever have, because they draw so much incoming fire so quickly.

Russia and the useful idiots who have backed its effort to justify its Ukrainian war are learning this lesson the hard way. Even before its first tanks entered Ukraine, Russia was aggressively selling its version of the war.

It’s a border dispute. It’s the Nazis. Just before it entirely collapses, NATO is going to let Ukraine join, and we can’t have that! Besides, Ukraine isn’t even a country anyway.

Yeah, the Ukrainians want it, they just don’t know they want it. They just need to close their eyes and enjoy it.

Turns out the Ukrainians had some other ideas. Which led to a whole new round of Russian nonsense. It’s the biolabs! And no, despite appearances, we’re not really losing, we’re just… winning… very… slowly.

Remember this nitwit (a nitwit much loved by the same conservative media outlets that are the only places that will have me, I’m well aware I’m cutting my own throat, but too bad, the truth is what it is) explaining how the Russians were about to destroy the Ukrainian army?

The Russian effort to paint this increasingly disastrous invasion as anything other than what it has failed completely.

How completely?

One poll showed that Americans support Ukraine over Russia by 73 percent to 6 percent. Another found that 85 percent of Americans now have an unfavorable view of Russia. A third reported 89 percent of Americans say the invasion was not justified. Find me any other issue where 89 percent of Americans agree. I mean ANY. Maybe ketchup as the best condiment?

Meanwhile, hundreds of major American and European companies have pulled out of Russia.

Perhaps most stunningly, random Americans and Europeans are now showing up in Ukraine and trying to fight the Russian army (a plan that is working about as well as one might expect). This sort of volunteerism hasn’t existed in almost a century, since the Spanish Civil War.

Again, this revulsion is not occurring because Twitter and Facebook and other outlets have completely censored Russian propaganda, or Chinese and in some cases American efforts to support it.

It is because the truth on the ground in Ukraine - that Ukrainians are resisting fiercely, that Russia is bombing civilians aggressively in an apparent effort to create a refugee crisis, that the Russian military is now struggling to hold its ground against a smaller but far more motivated force - makes the propaganda seem all the more absurd.

The truth outs.

The lesson for mRNA fanatics should be obvious. Covid vaccine advocates have already run arguably the most massive and coordinated propaganda campaign in human history. It has stretched across governments, companies, the media, academia. It has drawn on cutting-edge social science research on ways to “overcome hesitancy” and induce compliance through fear and guilt. (I promise to come back to this issue.)

This campaign dwarfs the Kremlin’s efforts.

And it has succeeded. Across the United States and the rest of the developed world, something like 90 percent of eligible adults have taken at least two mRNA (or DNA) doses - far more than take influenza shots each year, and more than most vaccine advocates predicted when the jabs were first rolled out.

Yet the last two months have seen far more Covid infections than ever before. And the vast majority of Covid deaths in mRNA countries are now in the vaccinated.

I am not your problem. Censoring me may feel good, but it does nothing to solve your problem. Your problem is that your vaccines don’t work. If your vaccines worked, no one would listen to me. No one would be reading this email.

Stop lying. Stop censoring. Admit the truth. Make better vaccines and people will take them.

Until then, the resistance is only going to grow.
