Let's honor 250 years of sacrifice by agreeing everyone has the right to speak, however noxious we may find what they say. The left has forgotten this truth. The right must not.
I really like your slant on honoring those that died exercising their free speech. The trend is horrifying and totally normalized by the legacy media. We are clearly in a fight for our nation's future and today is great time to really reflect and regardless of one's religious belief....to pray.
I’m happy to see that someone has mentioned Charlie Kirk today. He was never a veteran, but he died serving one of our country’s most important values. Please include his widow Erica, in your prayers, as well as our beloved veterans today.

Speech is the ultimate freedom. If the left controls speech, it’s closer to controlling thought. The word-burning left can’t compete with anyone who thinks for themselves.
The push by the left is going to met with a great shove and I can promise they won’t be prepared for how final it will be. Memorial Day isn’t a day for parties and the media labeling it as the unofficial start of summer is a slight to those that gave all. I let everyone know this should be first and foremost all weekend as it’s the least we as Americans can do for each and every single one of those heroes.
During my time in the service, we lost 18 of our battalion brothers. I can't even begin to think of what those in WWI or WWII went through (or however many were lost in WW11, I'm sure AOC knows). We can only try to live great lives and be positive influences on our fellow man, this country, and this world to honor the men and women (and families) that gave us so much.
We remember Charlie. The Democrats remember George Floyd. A drug addict, a criminal and a dead beat dad whose grown son didn't recognize his picture on the news. Fitting remembrance of Charlie who was worthy of being remembered.
The kind older man who lived next door to me survived Bataan and prison-camp, which I only learned about many decades later.
I was a persistent little shit, and invited myself anytime the garage door was up. All he shared of that time was some skin cancer from "running around the Pacific without a hat on"
