The real crime is that the media has used the death of an unvaccinated child to scare people that measles is a dangerous and deadly disease. Because the child had measles. But ... wait for it ... the child didn't die because she had measles. She died of medical malpractice. I've been praying for her family since I heard her story.

One of the best things I've seen on twitter this week is the "measles then and now" with a clip from Brady Bunch as everyone gets the measles and are thrilled because they don't have to go to school and no one is much worried about it. And then a clip from a recent SVU where an unvaccinated kid infected a whole bunch of people and -- gasp! -- little Noah is rushed to the emergency room because he got the measles! Because in the 1970s, the measles just wasn't as deadly as it is in 2025 so we need to be scared.

I will NEVER take another vaccination, I regret getting my kids vaccinated for most everything, and I'm very happy that two of my five kids aren't going to vaccinate their kids and two are on the cusp (I'm still working on them -- they're both not married yet, so I have time.)

At the risk of sounding like a horrible xenophobic racist, since no one else to my knowledge has made mention of this… perhaps it was not a great idea to allow 7 million most likely never vaxxed for anything immigrants enter the country at our Southern Border… you know, the one in Texas…..with the Measles outbreak…
