$350 for a useless poker chip? Alex, poker might be your thing and possibly a few others here but T- shirts or hats or some other wearable garb is a better choice here. I’m betting the t-shirts wind up being the idea that gets you more founding members. That’s me though.
I thought about hats, but a lot of people don't wear hats. Maybe next year. (And it's not like a T-shirt or hat would justify the cost of a subscription - it's still a small value compared to the price.) I just thought people would find it cool. We will see...
Alex, I’m busting balls here but Pirate Wires has merch and I’ve spent more on their merch than my measly subscription cost. If you get quality merch. It’ll sell. PW has great T-shirts and sweatshirts. It’s not cheap and it doesn’t have to be. Make it good quality and you’ll make money there too. Business 101.
I’m a poker player. You have to have some real kahonees to sit down at WSOP. Now for a piece of advice. If you want to sell T-Shirts, offer the slogan…whatever slogan it is, make the slogan available on the back as well as the front. Not on the front only, just the back, on the back only. Give it a try, what have you got to lose?
