Yes, Alex! My sister, a kindergarten teacher of 35 years, recently explained to me all about the gentle parenting craze. It’s a cleverly disguised( or not so clever) excuse to be a lazy parent and abdicate your responsibilities to do the hard stuff in the name of a ridiculous new method. Of course, the results are very clear from teachers: it doesn’t work! Excited for you, Alex! Congratulations! This is a desperately needed book for our current time.

Alex - this is a very important book. As I wrote yesterday, I have had two families configured just like yours - thirty years apart. First failed, second doing fine.
As a reviewer of 600+ books I have (1) become very familiar with a lot of relevant literature, and (2) at the request of Andy Slavit, for Joe Biden, been banned for life by Amazon. I'd love to see my review there, but somebody else will have to post it.

Great job. Excellent summary on how to be a good man and a great dad. Having 6 grown kids, I see how these tips, were incorporated in my interactions with my children, my sons particularly.
