The only nation that actually cracked down on the 2008 financial meltdown and jailed the criminal, rent-seeking, parasite bankers responsible, is the First country to lift all of the deliberately damaging, deliberately ineffective, and deliberately draconian COVID-19 restrictions?

There’s something special about this land and its people - I would love to drop in for a visit. Bravo Icelanders!!

Hard for me to cheer a land that cheers itself for eradicating Down syndrome. Thru abortion of course.

Expand full comment

There is good and bad in everything, and abortion acceptance was just another successful PSYOP to make people believe killing children can be a good thing.

This was achieved through endless media propaganda from the likes of Margaret Sanger and the Gates clan. It is literally Satanic, no exaggeration:

People that believe in abortion are victims of a prolonged onslaught of deception from the father of lies and a lack of an education about Jesus.

Every time I see young women cheering for abortion rights it breaks my heart. They have been brainwashed by my body, my choice, propaganda. This enables them to ignore the reality that they are in favor of killing an innocent child.

Expand full comment

And heartbreak follows them throughout their lives after destroying their child. I'm involved in a nationwide movement called Love Life, which meets every need of an expectant mom so that she can have her baby and raise it or let someone adopt it. You wouldn't believe how many moms don't realize there is life in their wombs. Over and over they say that the abortion staff has told them there's nothing living, but when they see an ultrasound, they're overcome because they realize it's a child.

In our city, churches prayer walk past the abortion mill every Saturday morning. There will be anywhere from 50 to several hundred people walking together by the center, worshipping and praying, not engaging. We do it for 40 weeks, and on Week 40, all the churches come together and there can be 5000 people praying. Of course, there are sidewalk counselors there to help women. But there are also pro-abortion people and they will wear devil costumes, witch costumes, and make literal curses in the name of the enemy on the people praying. If people could see the reality, they would be stunned. https://lovelife.org/

Abortion is used as a wedge issue. It motivates pro-choice to vote blue no matter who. People who don't want one shouldn't get one. Children with severe disabilities who are placed for adoption are often horrifically abused. Personally, I don't like abortion, but am not willing to shame a woman who makes the choice to get one safely. There are bigger fish to fry. Most importantly freedom to choose (yes or no) on any and all medical interventions. Left and right should come together on this issue.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within.” -Taylor Caldwell

Oh Wow!! I have been thinking so much about Taylor Caldwell lately and wondering if anyone still reads her. When I was young (like, nine years old) I was a voracious reader but had limited access to enough books to feed my need. For some reason though I had a large supply of Caldwell's books and I read them over and over. Eventually I questioned her frequent theme that the Western world is controlled by a secret cabal of wealthy and powerful elites who work behind the scenes to engineer crisis and war, mainly for profit. Ha, I said to myself, that's really taking things too far. Dark conspiracies, indeed!

And now I am reminded of her warnings, all these decades later. What if she was right?

Expand full comment

OMG, Twins, separated at birth! I remember reading “The Captains and the Kings” and thinking her thesis about powerful elites ruling the world was a bit “out there.” Now, not so much.

Expand full comment

I read it as a kid, I am 65 now. I knew it was truth when I read it. She pulled the pants down on historic personages, and it is just a short hop from what she revealed that was verifiable, to realizing the thesis was dead on accurate.

She was right! Didn't you notice the history part of her historic fiction? It's real, and she proved it to you in those pages, the ones referencing the actions of real historic figures.

Her greatness was in getting these truths out in the guise of fiction written well enough to be engaging apart from the didactic content.

- so that the baby sees that people are nice, we can interact, we talk to each other...

- Also, having a baby on the street is sometimes like having a toy, everybody wants to interact. So I also feel that I have a responsibility with the world, a baby lights up the world. In these dark times, I am making people's life better if I let them interact with the baby.

Now, I am sick of masks. So I am reluctant to interact with people with a mask. Because I think they are stupid and also, because my baby has seen too many masks already.

So, I will follow the mom you talk about. I will try to interact with maskless people as much as I can.

PS: here in Spain things are not like I feel they are in the US. I do not have the feeling that there is tension between masked and non-masked.

It's difficult to be nice to masked people because there's no way to know if they're smiling. I think masks have closed us off to other people. I don't think we even make eye contact.

I've encountered a few masked people who are overtly critical/hostile toward unmasked people. For the duration of the mandates, I've resisted wearing masks. I even pretend I "forgot" to wear a mask. I'd say half the time no one says anything to me.

There were two disturbing news reports yesterday: some college kids are objecting to giving up their masks. They claim they don't feel "safe."

The other is that people who don't have children want children to continue to wear masks. I guess they figure kids are germ-y.

I'm so DONE with masks.

Good luck with your little ones--keep them smiling!

It's crazy how many people have just checked out of society altogether with this mask thing. They like hiding. It's bananas.

I remember a discussion on Quora a while ago where people were sharing their (non-covid) reasons for wearing a mask - someone had skin problems, someone hated smiling to customers, etc, etc. These people will cling to their masks for as long as they can while forcing them on the rest of us. It's like many parents wanted schools shut for non-covid reasons (because they could travel, etc)

Yes, Northern Ireland dropped mask requirements recently. In my town, maybe 90% still wearing them :-(

well this is amazing and just so everyone knows canada has now levelled up the fascism as under the emergencies act we are tracked for everything we say (yes i am sure this was done before) but now they can actually punish us. as of today. usually i would post this sort of info on my instagram stories but starting today i cannot. as a mother for 4 children how do i fight for my childrens future and if we effectively cannot speak. protesting is illegal now. they are even recording phone conversations. my 11 year old daughter said to me "mom, if we cant protest and we cant even share the info, how will it ever end?" and to that I had no answer.

I'd suggest getting out of Canada. I was born in Canada and left to become an American many years ago. I was a child who asked my parents "what does it mean to be free?" so I saw long ago that freedom was at risk in Canada. The signs were there decades ago. Of course, freedom is always at risk everywhere but at least in the United States, the majority of the people still believe in freedom.

Oh, and it isn't easy to immigrate but right now, you have a golden opportunity to cross the border (by any means) and claim asylum.

As the State of the Union is looming, it’s likely restrictions will continue to fall here too. Biden will take credit for all we’ve done re: vaccines, COVID policies, etc. I wonder if CDC will recommend against masking . . . Gosh, it’s amazing how Dem governors and the entire western world (sans Canada) has this amazing coordinated messaging.

The CDC will not life masks in schools though. Their "thought partners" teachers union won't let them. They tried before.

Good for Iceland. But there it is again, “the vaccine prevents serious illness”. My experience on the street is, that statement is bunk. Studies seem to sometimes show a slight advantage. When you factor in the small percentage of devastating vaccine injuries, often among the young, this last canard is disturbing. After promising SOOO much the Vaccine Industrial Complex is down to, “well at least it prevents serious illness”- B.S.. this is criminal and I’m sick of hearing it.

If the Queen of England dies from Covid after being triple jabbed then maybe we can put to rest the idea that the jabs prevent serious illness?

Yes, I think time is the enemy of that statement and with each day that passes it is less true.

Hooray! Someone needs to tell Governor Inslee of WA. He still has mask mandates in effect until March 21st. I’m sure he choose this date because it is after March 17th (St Patrick’s day) when hundreds gather and celebrate in pubs. He is a total clown. He usually follows his blue brothers in Oregon and California but this time has stepped out of the box and independently made his decision and science be damned!

What else would we expect from another alumni of the WEF Young Global Leaders. What a disaster that man is.

My dad is visiting us in California from Washington right now and he says it's very strange to see so many faces.

It will be interesting to see how many masks come off when that date comes. Where I live in WA people seem to adore their masks and parade around outside, alone, with them on. It's very disheartening. I freely go everywhere without a mask.

Same where I live. You will see a few people here and there without masks but the majority are good little soldiers.

Meanwhile, back in the USSR, I mean USA, Biden has declared the national emergency declared on March 13, 2020, and beginning March 1, 2020, must continue in effect beyond March 1, 2022.

This particular state of emergency doesn’t give the president any special powers other than to relax federal regulations to make make the unapproved tests and vaccines available and coverable by insurance, and making it easier to share test results (track and trace). Look at the original proclamation 9994 by Trump in March 2020 that Biden is simply renewing.

https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2020/03/18/2020-05794/declaring-a-national-emergency-concerning-the-novel-coronavirus-disease-covid-19-outbreak

It’s been going on for almost two years now and so far all the tyrannical action has been at the state or local level. Biden tried and failed to do something at the federal level with the employer mandates but for the most part was stopped by the courts. And even then he wasn’t claiming to be exercising some special new power only open to him by the state of emergency. He was just using his regular executive discretion the same way Trump had cancelled CRT training for federal contractors.
