You’re looking into abortion? I just wrote an article over the weekend on how women actually despise birth and some see it as a parasite or disease: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/what-kind-of-torture-makes-a-mammal

There’s a war on fathers, war on birth. Smells like a war on humanity if you ask me.

Bearing children has been the most distinctly satisfying and rewarding experience I could have ever known. It is God’s design, a blessing and a privilege. I am sad for these women who have chosen this path.

Nailed it.

The overturning of Roe V. Wade was not really about abortion. It was about correcting an egregious error made by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is not supposed to legislate from the bench, and that is exactly what they did on Roe V. Wade. There have been sane liberals who argued that Roe V. Wade would ultimately be overturned because it was a royal fuck up.

Furthermore, Congress had 4 decades to codify a national abortion law and they did jack squat. The reason Congress does not solve these problems is because they love being able to campaign on the same issues every election cycle. The same goes for immigration.

“I am convinced that western civilization is passing at present through a mortal crisis. It has reached the extreme of self-destructive hate… As a bishop, it is my duty to warn the West! The barbarians are already inside the city. The barbarians are all those who hate human nature, all those who trample upon the sense of the sacred, all those who do not value life, all those who rebel against God the Creator of man and nature… the silent tragedy of abortion and euthanasia continue and pornography and gender ideology destroy children and adolescents. We are accustomed to barbarism. It doesn’t even surprise us anymore! — Cardinal Robert Sarah, “As a bishop, it is my duty to warn the West”, Catholic Herald, April, 2019

When homicide/murder of the weakest, most defenseless, and most innocent persons, usually by dismemberment is considered a moral good by a large percentage of the population our country will not survive for long. That is the ultimate evil and permitted by the mother herself. Then there is no resistance to any lesser evil…theft/socialism, unchastity, pornography, drug and alcohol addiction, lying, fraud, brutality, anti-semitism, unjust anger, violent hatred. The list is endless.

Amen. Would that that man had become Pope.

I'd add here: the bill of rights was secondary prevention because no one who ratified the constitution gave the Federal government the right to limit freedom of speech for example, but they feared it would happen because history has shown liberty loses with time through (perhaps power hungry) activities. Now all that protects many freedoms is the BoR. Cases like the commerce clause cases gutted the limits on power and that was intentional at the time see the court packing threats etc.

June 28, 2026 edition of New York Post front page points out the $103 Million dollars both George and Alex Soros have spent pushing "radical anti-America candidates" during the midterm election cycle so far. It seems their goal is to destroy America. Folks speak of cultural wars and doesn't it seem logical that in tearing down the fabric of our culture--family, mothers, fathers, children, male and female members of the human race, procreation, a people can be brought to their knees and ruled? It's a long-range plan these people have undertaken and the inroads they have made should have us all working to prevent them from achieving them. The need for our culture to prevail could not be greater.

"But our anger and polarization encompasses seemingly every cultural issue". One key point that causes it is the unlimited power of government. When the Constitution established a government of enumerated, limited powers, no one had to fear their neighbors. Once it became a government of enumerated liberties and seemingly unlimited power, everything becomes a fight to the death to preserve freedom. And the people who win are the people who want power.

Good evening, Mr. Berenson ,

I don’t like to talk about myself too much because I don’t trust people on the Internet, but I work in healthcare, and I have learned early in my life as a professional that men don’t easily reach out for support and take advice easily. That said, the most important thing is figure out peoples principles/ beliefs/ foundational expectations.

I’m sorry to keep rehashing things like the definition of evil and needing to work on marginalizing and ostracizing, but if you want to empower men, you need to start with making sure they have a plan of action how to deal with evil. Because if you want to protect yourself and loved ones, you gotta know who’s there for you, and who’s there against you. Hopefully that’s common sense but, I’ve read stuff at your threads that show me that people are clueless, they just instinctively go with a political party or just some figure head leader, and just pin all their hopes and dreams that person‘s gonna tell them what to do. You know who tells you what to do the best, who advocates best for you, yourself!

Good luck in your writings and just so you know, I’m fading out in August as I didn’t renew my membership, a lot of people will be happy, just letting you know, because I have learned things from you. I hope you can teach people to invariably do what’s best for themselves, their loved ones, and the things that they hold most dear to them.

Me!? Freedom, independence, choice, and autonomy! One tries to mess with those things, they are out of my life, and if they continue to press me, good luck…

By the way, these socialist Demoncraps, they are the textbook of evil, these people running for public office, these are the ones who will tell you what to do and they will be the last people doing it.

Again, lying and hypocrisy, the linchpin of evil. Figure it out, and you better figure it out fast, these people win in November, this country is going to burn, and it’s gonna burn where you live, you think your bubbles are impenetrable, cue the laughing meme…

Then the burning skull…

"The left’s decades-long monopoly on Hollywood, the legacy media, academia, and the administrative state has bred an anger on the right that sometimes goes too far in the other direction."

What the hell is this foolishness? I suppose we should only go halfway, we should accept, abide the left’s attacks on institutions necessary, essential for a stable republic to endure. It’s ok to only tear the family halfway apart, we should allow dads to be only 5’ tall instead of the 10’ tall and bulletproof as they should be. Don’t get me started on mothers and how on one hand they’re useless, we don’t need mothers, and yet the left has set up government structures that put the entire burden of parenthood on the mother.

I suppose we should have just beat back the NAZIs to Western Europe, let the USSR retain Eastern Europe. Is that our plan for Iran’s Marxist Islamist mullahs: let them keep enough nuclear munitions to, ya’know, protect themselves.

There is no halfway when it comes to protecting family or freedom - anything less is no family and shackles.

Masculinity and feminism are incompatible. One of them has to go and the Left has decided that it is masculinity.

Mark Bob's avatar

To exist, feminism requires an enemy. Their religious doctrine is based on misandry. With women and gender studies in every university, feminism and genderism are the only state sponsored religions.

For feminism and its disaffected adherents to survive, they need to become ever more extreme and demanding. Notice that the only acceptable man now is a trans man. The only cure for a person born with the disease of X and Y chromosomes is to become a trans woman with plenty of estrogen hormone injections and ideally voluntary castration.

As for anger, Alex, yes it’s all over the place. But in my experience, the adherents to progressive ideology are the most angry of all. They even create fake things to be angry at. I don’t recall any conservative friends ever saying that they wanted a president assassinated. I’ve heard many progressive friends say that.

We are locked into this dynamic because of the legacy system of a duopoly of two legacy political parties. The country may not survive if we do not find a way to dismantle the duopoly.

Meant to post this earlier, but I received this about a week ago and read it quite quickly.

It's very cogent and readable, crisp, very practical, and dearly needed in this day and age. I found myself nodding a lot.

"Ace of Based!" I said to myself at one point, though Alex might not consider that an unalloyed compliment.

It would not be a bad gift for someone who needs guidance and is willing to listen. Or who maybe needs some reassurance in this feminized and managerialized world in which we live, particularly in wealthier areas with a higher penetration of luxury beliefs and "gentle parenting" tropes.

I immediately went on Audible and bought The Fatherhood Manifesto for the low price of $6.99. My kids are long ago grown up but I'm still anxious to read what Alex has to say about fatherhood.

Ohmboy's avatar

I have barely started reading it and there are already too many F-bombs. I like what I have read so far, but I cannot give it to the people who need it unless the cursing is removed. Bummer.

Ohmboy's avatar

Finished reading. It. All 50 points are on the money. If the F-bombs were gone, I would give it to every young father I know.
