I'll jump on my hobbyhorse once more and remind people that the term "breakthrough infection" is engineered, Orwellian doublespeak.

Up until Covid, it was understood that the correct, scientific term to use when someone is A) vaccinated and then B) gets infection/disease anyway is "vaccine failure".

Expand full comment

I did not know that.

So, vaccine has been redefined, herd immunity has been redefined, quarantine has been redefined, vaccine failure has been redefined. And ALL just since the start of WuFlu.

I'm sure there's others.

Anti- vaxxer has been redefined too. One that will not take them and one who is anti-mandate. Woman is redefined to person with a “front hole”. Not sure how much lower you can go than that one.

"Dr. Fauci is either scientifically ignorant or morally corrupt. And, two facts can hold true at once."

I contend history will show Dr Fauci is our Trofim Lysenko. Lysenko was a Soviet Ag minister who was known for cultivating his celebrity status and demonizing his opposition. He was singlehanded responsible for mass starvation and sending 1000s of qualified scientists to the gulag. (Ref: Appendix of Michael Crichton's State of Fear)

This is incredible, thank you so much. My friend is suffering from abnormal food allergies since recovering from C19 in Jan 2020. He did not use ivermectin or hydroxy to treat it. He still has anosmia/loss of smell and taste too.

“Hi Dr. Xxxxxxx, I hope this finds you well.

I was wondering if you would be comfortable giving me a prescription for Ivermectin.

I would like to have it on hand so that I could start on it immediately if I were to catch the Covid virus.

Based on my weight (195#), I’m thinking a daily dose of 36mg for 5-10 days would be a sufficient amount.

Thanks,

…………..

Hi,

The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19 in people or animals. Ivermectin has not been shown to be safe or effective for these indications.

…………..

I’m grateful for your concern, but the FDA hasn’t shown it to be unsafe for these indications, either. They’ve punted it.

The FDA also doesn’t “authorize or approve”OTC vitamin supplements for safety and effectiveness, and yet they’re readily available.

In fact, way back in January of this year, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Treatment Guidelines Panel upgraded their recommendation on Ivermectin, making it an option for use with Covid.

They upgraded its status from “against“ to “neither for nor against“, which is the same recommendation given to monoclonal antibodies and convalescent plasma, both widely used in America.

https://www.newswise.com/coronavirus/nih-revises-treatment-guidelines-for-ivermectin-for-the-treatment-of-covid-19

There’s also a story out just in the last few days about a man in Chicago who was dying of Covid at a hospital and the hospital refused to treat him with Ivermectin, and then a court ordered the hospital to treat him with Ivermectin, and he recovered, and recovered very quickly.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/dying-covid-19-patient-recovers-after-court-orders-hospital-to-administer-ivermectin_4130754.html

It not only didn’t kill an old guy with Covid who was at death’s door, it [may have] helped him recover quickly and go home.

So I’d like to at least have it in my arsenal should I ever contract the virus.

Thank you.

Andrew

……………

Hi Doctor,

I was just wondering whether you’ve reconsidered your objection to writing a prescription for me for Ivermectin, based on my previous text.

I’d like to make a couple of additional points in favor of the prescription.

First, obviously you’re aware that off-label use of an FDA-approved medication is a common and legal practice, and that roughly 20% of all prescriptions are written for an off-label use.

Second, the FDA regulates the approval of medications, not the practice of medicine. So just because the FDA hasn’t explicitly approved Ivermectin for this purpose, that alone doesn’t preclude you from prescribing it for this purpose.

Third, virtually all of the resistance and opposition to Ivermectin is political and financial, driven by the pharmaceutical companies and government bureaucrats and elected officials, none of whom should ever come between a doctor and his patient. They all have a financial stake in preventing Ivermectin from being more widely used, because they would suffer terrific financial losses if it turns out that Ivermectin, rather than their precious vaxxes, is the better treatment protocol.

I don’t care about their finances; I care about my health.

Politics should never play a role, and it seems that the politics surrounding Ivermectin may be a factor in your reluctance to prescribe it.

I hope you can find it in you to resist the political pressure, and to write me the prescription.

Thank you.

Andrew

………….

The current evidence on the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19 patients is inconclusive. Until more data is available, WHO recommends that the drug only be used within clinical trials.

……………

Hi Doctor Xxxxxxx,

I don't understand your reluctance to prescribe Ivermectin. The United

Nations is not my doctor. The WHO, an agency of the United Nations, is not my doctor. Both entities are political organizations at least as much as they are anything else, and they are not even American organizations. They have no claim on my health care in any way. Furthermore, the WHO recommends social distancing of 3 feet (one meter). There is literally zero science behind that advice. So the appeal to the authority of the WHO on this matter rings hollow with me.

If we look closer to home, America's own NIH is neutral on the use of Ivermectin and has been neutral for nearly a year. That should matter far more than what the UN or the WHO say.

In the past you've recommended Omega-3 fish oil supplements to me for heart health maintenance purposes. But the FDA doesn't "authorize" or "approve" fish oil supplements for this purpose. In fact, the FDA said - five times, for five different health claims - that the evidence supporting the health claims of Omega-3 fish oil supplements is "inconsistent and inconclusive." While the FDA hasn't authorized or approved Ivermectin for Covid, neither does the FDA explicitly object to the use of Ivermectin to treat or prevent Covid. Fish oil supplements and Ivermectin have similar standing with the FDA, and you've recommended fish oil supplements to me in the past. So the appeal to the authority of the FDA on this matter holds little sway with me.

With respect to clinical trials, per data available at ClinicalTrials.gov, a branch of the US National Library of Medicine, itself an agency of the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) no one seems to be conducting trials of Ivermectin with any seriousness or alacrity. (And remember, the same NIH where this data is available is neutral on the use of Ivermectin to treat Covid.)

There is currently just ONE trial "ongoing" in the US, and it's a trial of just 31 people. That trial began in December 2020 and involved 10 days of treatment and 20 days of follow-up observation. By January 2021 they had all the data from the trial. But they don't expect to issue their findings until July 2022, fully eighteen months later! Mind you, the vaxxes were produced in about 8 months' time, but the only Ivermectin clinical trial "underway" will take 19 months to report? The WHO's appeal to the need for clinical trials in order to pass judgment on Ivermectin for Covid seems to me to be self-serving obstruction by the drug companies and by political organizations carrying their water, none of whom have any claim on my health care management.

I've now deconstructed the WHO, the UN, and the FDA's objections to, or silence regarding, Ivermectin, and I've found them not only wanting, but completely unpersuasive and without merit, in no small part because they're not my doctor. You are. So what do you think? What's your opinion on the matter? What concerns you about off-label prescribing a medication that has basically no risk of adverse side effects and that has been approved for human use in other applications for nearly half a century? Would you be more comfortable if I signed a 'hold-harmless' release? Because I will.

One last point. Over the holidays I'll be spending time in New England (NH and ME), which is going to be in the middle of their seasonal wave of Covid while I'm there. I want to have Ivermectin available in case I contract Covid, then or at any other time, and I think I've made a compelling case in support of the prescription.

My request is not based on something I read on Twitter or Facebook or heard from Joe Rogan. I’ve followed the subject closely for many months and I’ve done my due diligence. My prescription request is an informed one.

Please advise.

Many thanks for your patience and input,

Andrew

No reply, so I shared this article:

https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_morningbrief/pennsylvania-covid-19-patient-fights-for-access-to-ivermectin_4141190.html

I excerpted this:

“It is an essential drug. The CDC recommends every refugee that comes into the country take ivermectin. That shows how safe it is.”

He replied with a screenshot of the side effects of Ivermectin, and then said this, with respect to the excerpt:

“Careful with this statement. They do that to prevent importing diseases from elsewhere.”

I replied,

“Right, but the point of that statement is the observation that it’s a generally safe drug.

Even the WHO labels it an “essential medicine” (WHO Model List, Section 6.1.2). Yes, for parasites and scabies, but if the objection is one of general safety, that threshold has been met, by both the CDC and the WHO.”

I then added,

“Nothing is perfectly safe. These are common side effects of prednisone, which has been prescribed for me more than once.”

and I provided a screenshot of the side effects of prednisone. (I couldn’t remember if he had ever prescribed prednisone for me, so I didn’t want to make that claim.)

Then I provided another screenshot of the side effects of another drug, a lengthy list of side effects, and I observed,

“That’s Diclofenac Sodium, which you have prescribed for me.

My point is, I’m aware of the risks of Ivermectin, and I’m aware of the risks of Covid. My request is an informed one.”

No reply.

Next day I sent this:

“Doctor, the US government says that Ivermectin isn't safe for me, a healthy taxpaying American citizen, and my US government is expressly preventing me from obtaining it for my health care.

In the same breath, the same US government says that Ivermectin IS safe for incoming alien refugees (who may be undernourished if not malnourished) who may have any number of infections compromising their immune systems, AND, who may not even be infected with anything that Ivermectin treats. But THEY get Ivermectin, and I don't.

How is it safe for alien refugees, but NOT safe for ME?

This would be comical if it weren't contemptible and unconscionable on the part of our government.

If Ivermectin IS safe, then the US government is committing a crime against American citizens by blocking our access to it; if it's NOT safe, then the US government is committing a crime against humanity by requiring incoming alien refugees to take it.

It's one or the other.

Of course you and I both know that Ivermectin is generally safe; it's been prescribed for humans billions of times over the past 40+ years. You and I both know that off-label prescribing of FDA-approved medications is a common practice. As an FDA-approved drug, it's available for prescribing in a doctor's judgment, not in the judgment of a licensing board or some far-distant bureaucratic agency accountable to no one. You and I both know that the government's blocking of Ivermectin access is SOLELY a political move to protect the profits of the vaxx drug companies and has NOTHING to do with the safety or health care or health management of American citizens like me. You and I both know that the ONLY way to sustain the EUAs for the vaxxes is to prevent inexpensive but effective alternative treatments - e.g. Ivermectin, HCQ, etc. - from achieving legitimacy. You and I both know that those EUAs are driving this, because those EUAs are the ONLY way to protect the drug companies' vast vaxx profits.

I have made a comprehensive, compelling, thoughtful case for the Ivermectin prescription. Mine is a very informed position. No credible, persuasive case has been or can be made against it.

Please provide me with the prescription so that I can be better protected if I should contract Covid.

Thanks again,

Andrew”

Still no further reply. So I sent him this link:

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/hospitalizations-mortality-cut-half-after-brazilian-city-offered-ivermectin-everyone-pre

No reply.

I then wrote, "Why is there so much hostility toward a drug that's so safe, the US government requires incoming refugees to take it?!

And how can it be safe for refugees but not safe for me?? I have never yet heard anyone square that circle." and I included a link to a story about a Virginia hospital that is being fined $10,000 per day after denying a patient access to IVM not even provided by the hospital but provided by the patient's own doctor.

Still no response. So two days later I sent him picture meme showing Hannah Arendt, 1951, "The Origins of Totalitarianism" and the quote:

"Before mass leaders seize the power to fit reality to their lies, their propaganda is marked by its extreme contempt for facts as such, for in their opinion fact depends entirely on the power of man who can fabricate it."

Then, "This perhaps better than anything explains the current corruption and dishonesty in America surrounding Ivermection. "The contempt for facts" - what, exactly, is the government's evidence that Ivermectin is safe for refugees but not for me?"

My parting shot was today:

"Doctor, please tell me why I (or you) should trust the US government with my health, given these facts:

On Nov. 19 in a unilateral decision the FDA authorized boosters for all

adults - regardless of their job or any underlying health conditions - and

in doing so the FDA completely bypassed their vaccine advisory committee, which has ALWAYS been involved in this type of decision.

On Nov. 29 in a unilateral decision the CDC announced that everyone 18 and above SHOULD get a booster shot, expanding previous guidance that strongly recommended boosters - only for those 50 and older - and in doing so the CDC completely bypassed their vaccine advisory committee, which has ALWAYS been involved in this type of decision.

On Dec. 9 in a unilateral decision the FDA authorized booster shots (of Pfizer) for 16- and 17-year-olds, down from the prior age limit of 18, and

in doing so the FDA completely bypassed their vaccine advisory committee, which has ALWAYS been involved in this type of decision.

And as I have already pointed out, the US government says Ivermectin is safe for refugees…but *not* safe for me.

The US government *cannot* be trusted on anything related to Covid and *my* health. Please provide me with a prescription for Ivermectin.

Thank you.

Andrew"

Dear left winger, it's your people that are pushing the fear porn and the various "mandates" to get jabbed. Stossel's reporting is spot on.

The so called "organic" label is an example of left wing lunacy that completely undercuts your case. "Organic" is FAR more expensive such that it could never come close to feeding everyone, it has never been shown to be beneficial over non-organic, and if you get into the actual details the "organic" label itself is usually a joke.

And as far as "GMO" goes, again, your left wing pals will rail against it, but then are all for the mRNA jabs as well as pumping massive amounts of synthetic hormones into kids to block puberty and fake "transition" them into something they can never be. Of course they're fine with adults getting lots of hormones too, "modifying" their bodies.

My world divides by issues of human health and freedoms not by ridiculous corp factions or their culture wars. My "pals" come from the wing of truth seekers who follow facts not parties so lose the labels tyvm.

Organic is a farming method that is opposite of chemically controlled weed and pest management. With the two methods the same seeds can be grown with different practices by the farmers.

It is true industrial food sector has worked to undermine organic labels and find wiggle room for additives but it is not meaningless. USDA is just not the ideal verification tool but it does have reasonably high accuracy.

Genetically modified seed are a separate category that produce seeds to tolerate toxic herbicides or plants that produce their own pesticides. GMO give lifetime ownership of seeds and all their offspring to patent holders and every one is 100% paid for by USDA subsidies to make them cheap while 90% of farmers and ranchers get nothing.Half the subsidies paid yearly go to 10 Congressional Districts w Members sitting on House Ag Committee so cheap is an illusion at the checkout the corporate welfare scheme is what Stossel et al help to hide. This is part of why organic is more expensive but health costs don't count. Wanna guess who leads the donors for the top 10 MoC sucking up the Nations farm subsidy dollars?

https://farm.ewg.org/progdetail.php?fips=00000&progcode=total&page=district&regionname=theUnitedStates

Currently over 40% of food produced goes to landfill so food shortage is far less of an issue than food waste. Diets of foods with pesticide and herbicide residues are clearly less healthful than foods that are produced as nature intended drawing nutrients from healthy soils not drinking glyphosate from their roots. Be serious.

https://www.usda.gov/foodwaste/faqs

https://www.epa.gov/sustainable-management-food/united-states-2030-food-loss-and-waste-reduction-goal

There are in fact many studies that support this but it shouldn't take study data to know clean air, water and food produce better health outcomes than sucking up chemicals designed to kill other life forms.

There might be something very simple that a lot of families can do without the help of a lawyer (though I'm going to donate now): ask the attending physician to sign a document saying that s/he refuses to give Ivermectin ("We just want to make sure that you're going on record with this"). Dr will probably not sign. Try the supervisor, and keep going up the chain. Ask for liability insurance information.

Families will be making it clear that they're establishing a basis for a later legal claim, and often just this is enough to get people to change their minds. You can't have tyranny without enforcers. Hold the enforcers responsible, and they will tend to buckle.

Also families can probably get ahold of their own Ivermectin and follow a standard protocol.

So, here we are... The few who saw through the BS in February, 2020. The growing minority and "Possibly" the 45% unvaccinated. The FACT is, the CRIME was committed almost 2 years ago, and VERY few have stood up against these CRIMINALS...

I've been fortuanant. I live in a red State, and the mandates went away rather quickly (should never have happened, but we eventually figured it out). We have a HUGE population of sheep here; just like you; possibly a majority. They have a voice, but it's been drowned out by strong willed, hard working, citizens who have a bit more than average common sense.

It's not a mystery why many of the Blue States are still abusing their citizens. SIMPLY, they put up with it... In New York a group was just arrested in a restaurant for not being vaccinated. The place was packed; with sheep. No one stood up, pushed away their meal and followed them out... The place should have been empty after this incident, and those walking out should have stood outside explaining (civilly) to those entering why they shouldn't go inside.

Until those of us that witness this BS band together and simply "walk out" it will continue. WORSE, they are LEARNING from this, and the next excuse will involve even more abuse.

If you see someone being escorted out of a business because of Covid BS, WALK OUT WITH THEM. Encourage those around you to do the same. Leave your food on the table. groceries in your cart, players on the field, and WALK OUT!

Everyone wants to bitch and complain, few really want to do anything about it...

Expand full comment

I think we jumped the gun on the steal and got into the weeds too fast. At 30K feet I see this:

there were 9 swing states representing 18% of the state head counts.

ALL 5 states that went dark on election night were of this group which has the probability of about 1 in 20,000 of being a "natural" outcome. (calc is .18x.16x.14.x.12x.10 approx representing odds of each state joining the parade with one dropping out (or in) as used at each step)

Then Biden flipped each one. This begs an additional calc 3% representing the odds of flipping a coin and getting heads all 5 times, which last calc brings us into the 1 in 600,000. Anyone who thinks this last calc is unfair should look at the "control group" of swing states that did NOT stop counting. Trump won most of those (or all if you ask AZ) , but somehow got zero of the 5 dark counts.

In the light of this probability math we are in DNA match zones like 99.999984% chance of interference, or more accurately an orchestrated multi state election fraud campaign. If this were a court case the dems would have to prove that they DIDN"T steal it.

I remember when the once respected new England journal of medicine also published a report on the ineffectiveness of masking the general public in preventing the spread of a virus. They stated "it may make you feel better but it doesn't stop the spread" then after much peer pressure from the media they actually came out and said "well maybe they will help" after that I hold everything they say suspect. Because as we've seen the so called experts in the field won't stand up to the left.

Expand full comment

The money quote is the second paragraph:

"We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic."

https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp2006372

Expand full comment

Also,

"It is also clear that masks serve symbolic roles. Masks are not only tools, they are also talismans that may help increase health care workers’ perceived sense of safety, well-being, and trust in their hospitals. Although such reactions may not be strictly logical, we are all subject to fear and anxiety, especially during times of crisis. One might argue that fear and anxiety are better countered with data and education than with a marginally beneficial mask...Expanded masking protocols’ greatest contribution may be to reduce the transmission of anxiety, over and above whatever role they may play in reducing transmission of Covid-19."

Expand full comment

For a lot of us the masks INCREASE instead of reduce anxiety. When I see people wearing them I have anxiety over the future and co-existing with such compliant sheep. Here in California the latest indoor mask mandate started yesterday. I live in a purple county and have been out a lot the last two days. People are over it here. In a very popular commercial establishment even the employees were unmasked.

Expand full comment

I actually had a momentary, mild anxiety attack when I sat in my seat on a plane maybe 6 months ago. I had the mask on, and I was huffing a bit, and I could feel the thing coming on. So I just sat back and waited for it to subside, and when it did I was fairly soaked in sweat. The flight was uneventful, but the panic attack was real.

Only has happened that one time, but I love to fly (I bought a Groupon once and flew a Cessna 172 for about 30 minutes, including full control during takeoff AND landing!) so it (the panic attack) had nothing to do with flying. It was the mask.

In Ontario Canada(Pop 15M) we track Vaxed and unvaxed - need to do a couple extra clicks on the provincial website to get to it.

We are following the Israel trajectory. We are at 85% vaccinated, and they make up 70% of the cases and the growth is exponential. And on another data point - the unvaxed cases are 50% kids that are NOT having serious issues. What a mess we sleepwalked into

We have two choices - Israel or Japan. And Japan is the real success in this mess.

I keep hearing people repeat the mantra of the vaccine companies about the jabs efficacy of stopping infecting for a short while, but then losing its effectiveness. Where is the proof of any efficacy at all? There are people both vaccinated and not that do not get covid. Because you were vaccinated and didn't get covid for a few months, does that mean the vaccine worked? "Of course it does," they say. EHHHHH! wrong answer. It doesn't mean anything, because I can point to unvaccinated people not getting covid for several months after NOT being vaccinated. People just "believe," not because of scientific evidence, but their "faith" in the vaccine and their circumstance of not getting covid. And they have that "faith" in doctors or scientists or politicians who told them so.

I have faith in God and in his word. He promised that no plague would come near my dwelling in Psalm 91. The circumstances of that Psalm were a people under God's judgment. America is under God's judgment and that's where I live. The ones protected were those who "abide under the shadow of the Almighty." That means those who truly trust in God and his Son the Lord Jesus. I have not had covid and have not been vaccinated. But I have a more sure word than Fauci, Trump, or any other supposed expert or scientist. I have the word of God.

Expand full comment

Psalm 91 is one of my favourites. But don't take those verses out of context. We are fallen people with corrupted bodies. The reference in the Psalm is to protection from and victory over evil - not necessarily physical disease. Scorpions and lions are common Biblical metaphors for demons. The believer is protected from Satan and his forces, but not from physical illnesses. We all die eventually. Remember that Satan quoted this Psalm when he told Jesus to jump off the temple. The response? "Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

That said, the gene therapies are a total scam. God has given us the "power of love and a sound mind" to see through the wiles of the devil.

Expand full comment

Your unbelief in God's providential protection is common, but it is not faith. Jesus understood the true meaning of Psalm 91. God's angels did protect him many times from those who wanted to kill him. He also understood what it meant to tempt God and your unbelief is in that category, as it was the unbelief of the Israelites in the wilderness under Moses, that caused them to tempt God 10 times, till he refused to allow them to enter the promised land.

There are many examples of God's protection of his own throughout the Bible and it was not simply spiritual forces. People like yourself want to spiritualize words in the Bible when they clearly are talking about the material dangers.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation." Psalm 91:1-16

I could give many examples of God's divine protection of his people in times of judgment. There are also examples of God's judgment where he killed thousands by famine, pestilence, and sword. His judgment befalls the wicked. They are His target. Those who trust in him are protected. Do you need examples of why God is judging this nation and many nations of the world?

The NEJM is a Pharma-owned marketing publication. The fact that they're saying this now only indicates that they've been backed into a corner and are in CYA mode, not that they've applied some altruistic scientific principles to previously unknown data.

If you'll remember, they and The Lancet quickly published the totally fraudulent "HYDROXICHLOROQUINE WILL GIVE YOU A HEART ATTACK AND YOU'LL DIE!" hit piece within weeks of HCQ trending with "reviewers" who didn't actually review the data, which was fabricated by a quack doctor with a staff of less than a dozen people that included zero scientists. Please don't get me wrong. I am a fan. I'm a paying reader here and I've bought two of your books. I'm not a cheapskate bastard like most of the freeloaders here. 😁 I confess I'd never heard of you before you got dumped from Twitter.

I'm curious what the basis for your (proposed?) suit against them is, however. I admit I know nothing of your proposed tort; I do have a passing familiarity with publishing law. On what basis would you possibly have a claim against Twitter? They are a private entity, a publisher or a social media site. In any case, for better or worse, they are under no obligation to give anyone a platform, and they can (and do) restrict and remove the privilege as they see fit. I don't see what you, or indeed anyone, can do about it.

Defamation? Libel? Those are hard to prove in America. You probably fit the definition of being a "public figure" (being a published author and having 300,000 followers might qualify) so you have even less protections than a private citizen would.

Interruption of income? Did you have a contract with Twitter? Again, too bad. I know how they and other social media act is de-facto censorship and it's a sin. But as far as I can tell they act completely within their rights. I wish your claim success, but I simply don't see what possible legal angle you have.

In general, what needs to happen is for these social media companies to be regulated by existing law, or change the law. They hide behind the law(s) claiming they are a "public forum" when they are anything but. They engage in clear censorship. That should make them a "publisher" and also liable for the content they provide. They'd have clear reasons to want to avoid this latter category for what I hope are obvious reasons. In any event, they are enjoying the best of both worlds, and have the unspoken backing of virtually the entire Federal government and legal system for the time being.

Well we can suppose the lawsuit will result in some discovery, perhaps it's purpose. Somebody needs to push the system.
