No. Thank you for the attaboy. But I’d like to think he’s right, that I’ve been finding new ways to use reporting and analysis to explore the crises corroding medicine. Matt Taibbi is our leading countercultural writer on politics; I think Unreported Truths can be the same for healthcare and Big Pharma (and maybe already is).
The only hurdle: I like writing other stuff too1. But that’s a good problem to have.

Okay, now the poll:
I’ve been asked to join a new weekly podcast with a couple of other heterodox (for lack of a better word, conservative doesn’t quite fit) thinkers.
I am on the fence, not because I don’t like the other hosts, but because there are sooooo many podcasts out there and I worry preparing for one properly will take several hours a week. It’s not just the recording, it’s discussing potential topics, reading material we send each other, et cetera. And part of me thinks if I am going to podcast, I should just do my own. On the other hand, that would be even more work.
Given that you all pay the bills, I figured I’d put the question to you: to podcast or not to podcast. I don’t promise to follow the results, but they will matter. And feel free to comment too.

All right, back to work… I just got a tip about another terrible Texas pediatrician. The stories write themselves (only they don’t).

As you know, the AI engines in particular are fascinating me right now.
There are so many podcasts that even a a committed podcast watcher/ listener, I can't keep up. Sometimes I just prefer to read, and I really like your writing style. It's very approachable and I don't lose my way when something momentarily distracts me, as is the way of life.
Keep writing about what is important that interests you, I wouldn't focus on some specific area only. And podcasts are a slow way to present information vs an article.
